We've all been in situations where we've wanted to tell someone something, but just couldn't get ourselves to say it. Haven't we all been there? "YOU" is a song I wrote for a person who has come to mean a lot to me in such a short time. 

I love this person a lot, and just when I thought I was ready to express my feelings, which I eventually did, turns out, I was quite bad at it. 

However, before that, I wrote a song for this person, and that was how I intended to express my feelings. 

In a pipeline the entire song is me asking this person out. 
That's something I've never done before, and this record captures that entire experience.

HOME, as cheesy as it sounds, when I first wrote it and sang it, I felt like I was Bryan Adams with a guitar and a leather jacket, that's caught fire, and one might ask
"why the fire?"

Cause the song felt like I had this burning passion for this one person, yet, at the same time, I've felt secure and peaceful. More like, the I'm home kinda feeling..

Ever felt like you've needed to assure somebody that you're going to be there for them regardless of how tough things get? 

This song's my assurance to my partner that no matter how "deep" these "waters" are, I'd sail, I'd dive, I'd do anything just to be there for her. 

This record also has an underlying story of how I felt before our relationship began. The afro-swing rhythm with a pop melody justifies this feeling and makes this record seem like you're on a beach, having a conversation with your significant other

Despite this, I express my commitment to wait for her until she seeks clarity. The production seamlessly blends lofi-jazz fusion, hip hop verse, and pop melody, immersing listeners in a vivid visualization of the emotions portrayed.

"Without You" is a heart-wrenching electro-pop anthem that delves deep into the raw emotions of post-breakup despair. With elements of future bass and alternative ballad, the song weaves a haunting soundscape that mirrors the hollow feeling of personal loss. It captures the turmoil of feeling tethered to memories while grappling with the overwhelming sense of emptiness and depression. Through its poignant lyrics and evocative melodies, "Without You" becomes a cathartic journey through the complexities of love, loss, and the struggle to move forward when every instinct pulls you back.

Without You

"Flower Boy" is a heartfelt reflection on a journey between two partners, tracing from their indelible first kiss to the ache of parting ways. Through poignant piano melodies, it evokes the haunting feeling of realising that their time together was fleeting, and how the fear of him never finding someone like her again lingered deeply.
