Concise in content, exemplary in refinement, Essentia, is strategically planting his roots within the underground techno community. The Scottish born, London based composer/ DJ and co-founder of Duplicity Records, has embedded his meticulous sound on some of techno’s most respected and historical imprints including, ARTS, Soma, and Illegal Alien. Each release being a statement of time and dedication to pushing his sonic vision. 

Gaining support from the masters of dance floor narration, Essentia’s early discography has been supported by the likes of DVS1, Rødhad, and James Ruskin and delivered to some of the most demanding parties including Berghain, De School and Radion. As an artist and performer, his unique output comes only from attention to detail, respect, and time immersed within the underground club culture.

Ruben Ganev is a Bulgarian sound designer, producer, tutor, performer, and label owner with nearly two decades of experience in sonic craftsmanship. Born in Sofia in 1987 with Armenian heritage, he began experimenting with sound in 2005 and later honed his skills in the UK, graduating in Sound Design from the University of the Arts London in 2011. Influenced by his classical music background and diverse musical tastes, Ganev developed a distinct style that culminated in the founding of his Berlin-based label, mould.audio, in 2020. His productions, praised for their depth and maturity, have gained recognition from top-tier artists and are regularly played in premier clubs and festivals worldwide, including Berghain and Tresor. In 2023, he released music on the esteemed Reclaim Your City label. Now based in Sofia, Ganev continues to produce, release music, and tutor aspiring producers through his individual courses.

A major milestone was his debut at the legendary Tresor Berlin, a defining moment that showcased his deep, driving sound in one of techno’s most iconic space.

With his music resonating in some of the most revered clubs in the scene, FVKS is steadily cementing his name among the new wave of artists pushing the boundaries of modern techno.
