Singer Songwriter Dwayna Litz writes and releases “Stayin’ Gone” --a driving, country single filled with attitude. Recorded at the famous Ronnie’s Place on Music Row in Nashville, Dwayna co-produced it with famed fiddle player and arranger, Tim Crouch. It evolved into a sound all its own, appealing to audiences from soulful country to rock, thanks to musicians: Steve Brewster on drums/ Tim Crouch on guitars, fiddle/Jeff Taylor on piano/James Mitchell on electric guitars, and Duncan Mullins on bass; recording engineer -Nick Autry; Nathan and Suzanne Young on background vocals; mixed by Billy Decker, and graphics by nSpire Design Solutions. It begins with the lyric, “How many times have I told you goodbye?” It’s a feel good, song that trophies strength in being true to one’s self, giving up that addictive kind of love that is “on and off the ride,” with a smarter future now, after just enough hurt to finally be “stayin’ gone.”

“Maybe” is a song about falling in love. It depicts the surprise of meeting someone new and how, in the beginning throws of chemistry, you ask yourself, “Is this for real?”

Dwayna Litz pours her heart into this song about the present, the future and looking back. “I better sit down and catch my breath…If this isn’t real, then what can I believe?” It’s rhythm is a peaceful flow in the vulnerability of loving someone forever—just “maybe.”

Produced and mixed by Mark Miller at Jack's Tracks Studios, owned by Allen Reynolds, in Nashville in the 90s when I was 23 years old; published by Forerunner Music. Now the studio is owned by Garth Brooks and called Allentown. Mark Miller is now the producer for Garth Brooks. Great time and memory working with Mark, one of my favorite people back in the day on Music Row who worked to shape me as an artist.

The studio was called Jack's Tracks at the time, owned by Allen Reynolds where all of the hits by Garth Brooks were recorded. Now it is called Allentown, owned by Garth Brooks. Mark was the sound engineer for all of the Garth Brooks hits, and it was a wonderful experience having him produce these songs on me as I was starting out in Nashville.
