Ive Been Told

I wrote this song and presented it to my mother before her untimely death. Her spirit was like Christmas, only year around. Her spirit lives within me and every time I give this tune a listen (mostly around the holidays) I am reminded of her and what "the season" is all about.

We all know someone who has battled with their demons on this earth. Too often those battles are lost and we discover  much we wish we would have said or done. This is especially true when the battle ends in death. I wrote this song  from that standpoint.  I wrote it for those who have lost their battle in this realm and have moved on to another, and for those left behind. Picture a spirit longing to speak to a loved one or a friend from the other side and you have captured the idea...
