Dancefloor Diaries 01 - dxrvo (ÆDEN, Berlin @MODUS) [DD01]

dxrvo invites MARRGIAN & Ek-sistenz 

This 4h long hybrid set was recorded on August 3rd 2024 in Magdeburg (@geheimclub) It marks the first time the trio played a hybrid set in a club atmosphere and a big step toward their goal of integrating more and more live elements in the future. The setup consisted of the Moog DFAM and Mother-32 as well as a Roland Tr-8s drum machine, all layered on top of two CDJs using a Xone:96.  For this performance, the artists intentionally prepared as little as possible with the goal of creating a mix that truly represents the emotions and the connection to the dancefloor which they felt throughout the night. As such, most of the live elements that can be heard here were spontaneously jammed in during the performance — some more or less happy accidents included. But can you really have one without the other..? 

The final result: an energetic soundscape filled with lots of eerie, hypnotic synths, rolling percussions and deep baselines, all inspired by ecstatic screams and shouts from the dance floor.

Dancefloor Diaries 02 - MARRGIAN b2b Ek-sistenz (Geheimclub, Magdeburg @Never Stop) [DD02]

This time, the third edition of my Dancefloor Diaries takes you into the pulsating atmosphere of the SYN x VALOR party at ÆDEN Berlin. In the early morning of 25 October, dxrvo and Ynk played an intense b2b set recorded on four decks from 06:00 to 08:00. At a powerful 145 BPM, they enveloped the dancefloor in a hypnotic maelstrom of deep, driving beats and energetic tension.

This recording is a dynamic sonic tapestry of pulsating bass and infectious rhythms - an invitation to immerse yourself in a trance-like world that permeates every step and movement. Embark on this sonic journey and feel the energy of this special night, which remains alive in every second of the set.

This set by Brandyy was recorded for the Opening of the SYN X Valor event at Æden, Berlin. The Set was played at a range from 138-140 bpm with a lot of mystical vocals paired with clean hi-hats and bouncing kicks.

When I started playing I was nervous as usual. After the first two or three transitions I was immediately in my tunnel. Especially early in the morning I play very driving, hypnotic and spacey tunes. Up and down with a few tracks in the middle that get the audience's full attention and back into deep tracks. I use to layer many minimalistic tracks as in this set. I hope you like it and maybe I can capture you a bit in the club feeling that I have created.

I took the opportunity to dive into some deeper tracks, creating a consistent groove that builds naturally throughout. While I planned a lot beforehand, I embraced the spontaneous moments that made the night unique.

Dancefloor Diaries 06 - AELX (Geheimclub, Magdeburg @Never Stop) [DD06]

For Episode 7 there's a special 5-hour set from me, recorded at UKW Kraftwerk Rostock. This set means an incredible amount to me - it was my ‘non’ leap year birthday, and I was actually supposed to play for a whole seven hours. But after a 3.5-hour train journey and an extensive birthday party the day before, my energy was limited.

I've never received such a warm welcome! The UKW team put so much love into this place and have really created something special there. I loved playing there - I totally got into the tunnel! The vibe was perfect and I was able to present my sound exactly the way I want to, because the UKW family totally gets it. Thank you for letting me share this magical moment with you - you guys are amazing!

Have fun dancing and listening to these 5 hours full of sci-fi elements - hypnotic, minimalistic and deep. The set ranges between 141 and 143 BPM and takes you on a journey.

For Epsiode 8 there is my recording from April 5th at the Toolboxxx Party at TheGate Club Düsseldorf. Here you get 2 hours of driving, deep, hypnotic techno, with sci-fi elements.
I was in the 138BPM - 140BPM range.

It was a lot of fun to play with you! Great little underground club, with a super sound system! 
The great event was organized by HWRD with his series Toolboxxx, very warm welcome and sweet crowd!

Two hours of pure fire - our set on May 18th at Tohhnzimmer was an intense ride through the depths of hypnotic techno. With 145 BPM, hard edges and driving percussions, we captured the vibe of the night and created a soundscape on four decks that got under your skin.

The room was charged - full of energy, full of movement. The crowd felt every drop, carried every kick. It was raw, direct, atmospheric - and at the same time a dream of sound and connection.

A special evening, a special vibe - harder, deeper, more uncompromising.

After testing the grounds of a wide variety of techno subgenres, combined with our analogue synths in many live/hybrid sets, we wanted to stick our heads together and create a really special opening set this time, fitting the vibe and atmosphere of the big location, that Hangar No. 5 is. 

Hypnotic, reverb-infused textures, melancholic melodies and playful percussion are filling this wild, groovy ride, influenced live by our Korg Prologue 8 to keep you listening and your feet dancing!
