I heard “insufficient funds” at the ATM and blacked out.

We cried at graduation,
thinking freedom would feel like the wind—cool and bold.
Turns out the 5th is a loop,
and the 10th? A debt collector in disguise.

You want to cry, but tears won’t come.
Too expensive, too late.
Broke but breathing.
I’m still here—but damn, I’m tired.
No one asks if you’re okay,
they just ask if you’ve paid the utility bills.

You open a food app,
not for dinner,
but for comfort.
The kitchen’s not empty from laziness—

The lights in the office shine brighter than the streetlights,
