We are more than excited to present to you our first guest mix in behave of the 'Herbarium' series, recorded by the wonderful @dycide. It reveals one side of the organic and groovy vision of this new born label in form of broken techno vibes as well as driving Drumandbass.
The artwork displays an 'Antirrhinum', a flower which is also known as the dragon flower. It presents itself in its full beauty during July and impresses with its colourful blossoms. This plant is really powerful - it always comes back, even after really cold winters. The seeds are more than ready to sprout anywhere as soon as the warm season begins. The mix and the flower are both radiating pure strength and at the same time soft and gentle textures, a lovely combination and the perfect starting point for QEONE.

Dycide is a Deep-Techno and Drum and Bass producer/DJ based in Munich, Germany. He produces electronic music, which is best described as intricate rhythms combining various percussive textures while keeping a subtle atmosphere. This creates a very minimalistic sound without losing the importance of storytelling. While his other passion, the art of programming, lets him experiment with generative art, both in visual and auditory work. In 2018 Dycide co-founded the audiovisual label IO together with his close friends MTRL & Polygonia. The label already counts many successful releases and has gained a deep following over the years.

With every full moon or solar eclips I will present a new artist which I highly admire and respect and who embraces the same dark, ambient and hypnotic techno sounds like me.⁠

The full moon is a time of blossom and highlights.⁠
The full moon equals the spiritual and energetic culmination. ⁠
When the full moon has passed, the waning moon phase begins. ⁠
This is the time to let go what no longer serves you. ⁠
⁠
Today's full moon is in the sign of Scorpio. Scorpio is the zodiac sign that is not afraid to go into the dark. This sign asks you to turn inward and make room for depth. It does not like superficiality or putting on a mask. Scorpio wants the bottom line, even if the truth hurts.

In addition, Scorpio is the sign of transformation. Like no other, this sign is able to transform itself into something new, something better. Scorpio likes to think of ways in which this sign can transform itself. This stems from an underlying need for power, but also for depth. And to achieve that, Scorpio likes to take a (deliberate) risk.

For this transformational full moon I've invited deep techno mastermind @dycide , who crafted an exceptional and melancholic story which transforms through a various of dark and underground techno sounds.

Dycide's Biography

Dycide is a producer / DJ, professional sound designer and visual artist from Munich / Germany. He is playing piano since his early childhood and started producing ambient music as a teenager. He established the Dycide pseudonym in 2014 to release mainly minimalistic deep drum and bass. Slowly he started changing more and more to techno oriented music. Meanwhile he and his close friends founded IO, an audiovisual label, focusing on experimental ambient and deep techno and visual arts. Besides these projects he is working as an interactive sound designer at Impulse Audio Lab, a sound design and software company based in Munich/Germany.
