Dykkon Isar.a.n. aka CBF Nell, was born and raised on Detroit’s eastside community, during the era when hip-hop music was just beginning to impact the city. Listening to artists such as Ice T, Public Enemy, and Boogie Down Productions inspired him to write his own rhymes. After years of sharpening his rap skills using his lifes experiences growing up in Detroit, CBF Nell got an opportunity as a featured artist on Dice’s “The 40 Made Me Do It” CD (1992). This album is now a Detroit classic, and is perhaps Detroit’s first hip-hop album to be released on CD. 
Back then, CBF Nell was as known as D-Mack Moheem and it was under this name that he established solid street creditability as an emcee. He gained notoriety for his animated rap voice, which rises and falls in pitch as he recites his lyrics. CBF Nell’s past collaborations include co-producing a track with DJ Mystro aka Lord Maji of the group Kaos & Mystro, which was used by the group AWOL. He also, appears as a featured artist on Dice’s “Black Monday” CD (2000), and a slew of releases from Detroit’s underground hip-hop artists.

In addition to his work as a member of Tha Paypa Boiz, CBF Nell is in the process of re-vamping and upgrading his song catalog for his solo album. It is expected to be a wonderful blend of Midwest meets Dirty South and West coast rap hustle. The release will feature music production by CBF Nell and the legendary DJ Lenn Swann. Lesser Known Facts about CBF Nell:

CBF Nell is an historian on Detroit hip-hip, perhaps because he knew many of the pioneers before they recorded their first album. He went to school with Esham, one of the city’s most successful underground hip-hop artists. CBF Nell credits himself as being the person who introduced Esham to Dice. This introduction led to Dice getting signed to Esham’s label Reel Life Productions.

Aside from his artistic talents, one of CBF Nell’s strongest assets is his keen business sense. He's knowledgeable on many facets of music business and considers himself to be a strategic planner.
