Promise To Pay has quite the story behind it. When I was going into the studio to produce another song, I went on the train instead of driving and I haven’t been on the train in a long time so there I go on the train and I got to Leeds City Centre and no one had asked me for a ticket so I went to the ticket place in the station when I got stopped and asked where it was, when I explained they then told me I should have got one from the self ticket machine at Morley but I didn’t know they were there so I ended up getting a small fine. When I got to the studio I told the producers what had happened and we wrote Promise to Pay.

PROMISE TO PAY

Take Me Away is about a man who sees the same girl on public transport everyday but doesn’t have the guts to speak to her but he can’t contain his feelings anymore so one day he does and she “takes him away”!

TAKE ME AWAY

Everything I Need is about how in life you have to distance yourself from people in order to grow and find yourself. I believe it is so important to have the right circle around you so you can flourish and there’s just some people who don’t fit into that. You will always care for them though.

EVERYTHING I NEED

This is a tribute song to my grandad who passed a year today. The song is about the memories me and my brother Ryan had and how I will treasure them forever. Writing this song was the best way to deal with it and it gives me so such comfort, I hope it may for you too.

There is a lot of negative things happening right now and this song tells you that no matter how you are feeling you are not alone and the bad feelings won’t last forever. I wrote this song when a lot of bad things were happening and I hope it helps you as much as it helps me.
