Haven't recorded a cover in a while, and I've been wanting to cover an Avett Brothers song. With my computer refusing to open any recording software, I did each track in one take using GarageBand on my iPhone, with pretty much no mixing or editing. Good thing the lack of polish suits the song!

I'd Give It All to You - Songs for a New World/Jason Robert Brown (cover with Gian DiCostanzo)

Might have landed the first cover of this one, from The Jonathan Larson Project, a 2018 show debuting some of Larson's previously-unpublished and demo music. We owe a huge debt to the cast and musicians from TJLP at 54 Below and the subsequent cast recording. 

Had a great time recording this remotely with Gian and Kendall, who are incredible musicians in their own rite and are hard-hit by the pandemic like lots of others in the music and theater industries. Support local musicians!
