Inspired by some recent reading of Kierkegaard's Purity of Heart Is To Will One Thing.   This idea of man living in time and at the same time always responsible and answerable to the Eternal. The idea of the eleventh hour has perhaps been cheapened in the 20th and 21st century; the term has almost certainly been abused, used ironically to serve this or that end.  But the irony of ironies, indeed the irony of irony itself, is that the Eleventh Hour is ever with us as this kind of hint or ambassador of Eternity, this final moment in time before time slips away.
