For grad school we made a fake used car commercial for the Millennium Falcon. Wookie noises were created by pitch bending. Background noises were created by crowd recording. ship SFX were panned from left to right to create movement. 

The Cantina song, the Tie Fighter SFX, and R2D2 Whistle SFX were used for educational purposes only. 

Fake Millennium Falcon Radio Ad

Radio PSA for Northern Colorado's Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Center. SAVA wanted a down to earth simple message so I got several staff members that volunteered and read the script, then spliced various sentences together. The ad is on Northern Colorado's Clear Channel Hub and KCSU.

Lunarsea - Main Theme

I recorded the Colorado Wind Ensemble rehearsing at the King Center in Downtown Denver in October of 2016. I used an XY Mic configuration using two Schoeps CMC 6 U. The placement was about 5 rows center from the pit. The recording itself, had to go through RX due to a Dante card not clocking properly, causing network clicks and pops. Individual clip replacement was also used to smooth out errors RX missed.

Colorado Wind Ensemble - Paul Hindemith’s Symphony in B-flat

This was a highschool ensemble I recorded in the Summer of 2017 for CU Denver's Lynx Camp. We had 2 hours of total recording time per group and this is one of my favorites. Primary vocals were recorded on a U87 and SM58 for backups. Drums were tracked with Cascade Fat heads and a Sennheiser drum kit. Piano was tracked with SM81 and the guitars were tracked with a Royer 121 ribbon. Bass was DI.

I'm a grad student at the University of Colorado Denver Recording Arts Program. I've been working with sound for about 5 years. My most notable project is Sins of the Prophets, a Halo total conversion to Sins of a Solar Empire. I specialize in sound design and dialogue recording but I can be a mean music recording artist as well!
