May kinda fucked up my whole idea for the quarter series when my brother died.. I was going to tell the story of lost love, to finding myself and realizing that i didn't need a girl to be happy..
I started writing this the day before my brother died, and i was already going through some shit as you'll be able to tell by the first verse, and then the day my brother died i finished this song (as you can tell by the second verse)
Watching my mom go through this is probably the hardest thing i think i've ever had to besides losing him. I just want to give her the whole world, my heart, and everything that i have. I leave for tour and I'm going to be on the road in the midst of all of this, so that is going to be a giant that ill have to conquer.

My brother died in May of last year of a heroine overdose, and when i got the news that he died, i was sitting on my front porch in the early morning, smoking a cigarette and drinking a cup of black coffee. Ever since that day, i have began my morning the exact same way.. A cigarette and a cup of black coffee. Addiction can affect people in many ways, and not just the person who's addicted, but everyone around them. I have a lot of problems that i can't solve, and i can't bring back my brother, but when i can do is be a voice for people who struggle with addiction. "Im way too crazy and the only thing that you taught me was addiction" My brother wasn't a bad person, he just had a lot of issues that he couldn't handle himself.
