This is my poem about equality. This really happened at my last high school concert. I share this not in order to create controversy but to saY "Hey just because i'm gay doesn't mean I wished any special treatment out of it, I just wanted to tell you that I finally accept myself and it feels good." Trapped In Time

So the other day at work, while i was in the middle of taking out trash, a teenage boy mocked me by saying goodbye in a very stereotypical "gay man voice." So I simply chose to say "GOODBYE HAVE A NICE NIGHT!," while being as polite and free spirited as ever. And then I was called a fag. Granted I am not a very offended person however this was the first time i've been called a fag to my face in a derogatory sense. So I made this song/poem for the gay community. I am not a struggling gay anymore. I fully accept myself for who I am but this kind of sheds light on the fact that it could be anyone. You could be getting under ANYONES skin and making them think to commit suicide or just feel shitty about themselves. Homophobia and BULLYING in general needs to quit. IT starts with parents teaching kids that gay is ok. Though many are still uncomfortable about the topic it still is not right to just being throwing the word faggot at anybody. IT's absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. So please share this message and overall just be nice
