French underground hitmakers Oden & Fatzo return to Defected alongside producer Romeo Louisa with ‘Be The One’. Following a string of certified dance favourites on the London label, including 2024 summer smash ‘Tell Me What You Want’ with Poppy Baskcomb and more recently ‘Only For Tonight’ with m.O.N.R.O.E and Matluck, the Parisian duo are back with their most ambitious song yet alongside long-time friend and collaborator Romeo Louisa. Hailing from the French Riviera, Romeo Louisa’s soulful, garage-adjacent sonic have led to collaborations with house’s freshest names, including Josh Butler, THEOS and a remix from DJ Steaw. Co-produced with the Grammy award-winning Picard Brothers, ‘Be The One’ is an energetic record with vibrant bursts of funk, filtered vocals and delicious synthwork paying homage to their French electronic heritage.
