This performance was played on the acoustic piano at the 2025 Ozora festival, Visium stage, completely improvised on the spot.

I installed a Nord Electro 6d and my live-act setup beside the piano and dropped some beats and live-looping in the end.

The latest from Suffused Music finds the label revisiting Dynamic Illusion's 'Massive' for a new set of remixes. Originally released in November of 2017 as part of the 'Run Away' EP it found the Hungarian artist at his creative best. The track's chunky groove and ethereal elements resonated wonderfully on the dance floor and quickly found a place in hearts of progressive music lovers all around the globe. Now almost two and halfs years on Suffused Music invites Greenage and Pacco and Rudy B to reinvent the track for 2018.

The first interpretation is provided by Greenage who is making his debut on the label. The Indian artist has found a great space in the progressive landscape with key releases on Juicebox Music and Balkan Connection. His 'Massive' interpretation is about as pure as the resurrected genre can get. It's warm, fluid groove and wispy vocal motifs are incredibly charming. Add to that a vibrant percussion section and expansive sonic tapestries for what results in a magical, free flowing creation to be enjoyed several times over.

The second and final interpretation of 'Massive' is provided by Pacco and Rudy B who are returning to the label for their fourth appearance. The Croatian duo have been hot this year with the launch of their Mallam imprint along with quality work for A Must Have and Dopamine Music. Always creative remixers, they take 'Massive' into their own world of dreamy progressive house. Backed by a warm, sultry groove it's free flowing appeal is hard to resist. Reprocessed, the vocals sound fabulous, dreamy and ethereal as they fade off in trails of sonic dust, before a luminous set of tones carries the piece to an exhilarating conclusion. Two excellent interpretations from two of the most on form artists of the moment. An excellent remix edition for Suffused Music once again which heads into the summer season on roll.

BIOGRAPHY:

Dynamic Illusion, also known as Daniel Gyarmati, was born in 1985 in Szombathely, Hungary. Music has been a part of his life since his childhood years. His father’s loves of music also infected him in his early years with his old vinyl classics like Kraftwerk and Jean Michell Jarre.

Daniel spent eight years honing his musical talent at a music conservatory, playing for the local orchestra. After getting his first PC at age 13, he began to discover the musical possibilities of the computer, composing his first pieces of music. At the same time, he became exposed to the DJ scene, attending parties and becoming influenced by the energetic tech sounds of Dave Clark, Chris Liebing, and Umek, as well as the progressive music of DJs like John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, and Max Graham.

Daniel’s musical obsession made him search his inner self for something unique. He was torn: he still loved the energy that techno gave him, but at the same time felt that the genre was regressing. He was in dire need of change and found his real love: progressive house. This was music where you could combine funk, drive, melodies, ass-shaking beats, and awkward sounds all in one, rather than using a single formula that he had grown tired of.

Nowadays he got more than 100 tracks released and many are feedbacked and played by the biggest names from the scene like Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Moshic, Quivver, Solarstone, Lemon8, Jaytech, Fernando Ferreyra, Michael & Levan, Faskil, Kintar and many more...

Besides his work as a producer, Daniel is also credited as being an excellent DJ. His sets these days are as diverse as his productions, blending progressive, breaks, and deep house into a very distinct and atmospheric sound. 

He has been featured with exclusive mixsets on every month, at Frisky Radio (Mindfields) where the intelligent dance music gets the leading part, with co-host Retroid. 

At 2012 he started his own record label called Deep Dive, that is focused for deep house music, and at 2013 the sublabel called Star Dive, wich is the place for he's progressive and break expressions.
