The Dva Dereva project was formed in 2010 and over the years has performed meditative and trance acoustic music using a wide range of ethnic and archaic musical instruments. Since the end of 2018, the project has begun experimenting with a new electronic sound. The experiments led to the emergence of a new program that combines the sound of analog synthesizers, acoustic instruments, author’s lyrics and mantras of different traditions. In the sound of the project one can hear elements of such genres as trip-hop, drone ambient, tribal ambient.

New Growth

Rise up through tired winter beds,
A leaf or two at first, and then...
An eruption of yellow and green
The splendor of nature's birthday suit
Comes clean again.

The forest shows the way to spring,
this rebirth, will rebirth, our rebirth.
And so tired eyes rub themselves awake,
To plant naked dancing feet 
Upon this Evergreen floor. 

We as a community come side-by-side
Circled up, and ready to ride,
This wave, this journey, this cycle.
With nature as our guide,
Our rebirth, will rebirth, this new earth.

I recorded this set on April 3, 2022 for the Asheville Movement Collective were I reside as a facilitator and mix maker. The set was crafted with me pulling an all nighter the night before to design the wave and practice it, and then I played it live with a few adjustments to fit the vibe of the dance floor. 

All of the artist names and track titles are noted by me in the comments. Mahalo to all the musical artists and the many cultures that helped produce the music I use to craft this journey. 

I'm also happy to share a poem I wrote as an intention to this Sunday morning dance. Blessings to all those who honor the act of dance as medicine.

The composition of this Far & Off album began after on long period of detachment and isolation. 

This modern life we lead tends to saturate many of us with information, constant stimuli of all kinds and shatter time, as if we lived in small sequences. Some of us content themselves with that, some manage to regulate or tighten the flow, others collapse or pretend not to. 

I guess I'm not the only one to ever feel the need to fly away, remove myself from the ongoing swirl and purely vanish. 
It wasn’t a matter of waking up with a sudden urge, it built up, slowly, between the lines, it wasn’t caused by any philosophical, spiritual or religious belief either. It simply became a natural answer to the surrounding frenzy. 

To be on my own, far, in another context, without technology, an act of protection. Taste real solitude, a state in which no one else exists; cross the line, change rhythm and feel the passing of time. 
This is what I am sharing with you now, with keys and sounds, pads and patterns, glitches and drums. My desire was to compose contrasted tales, to bring light on the paradox, from one extreme to the other, harshness to tranquility. 

Mihalis, as he encountered a similar situation was keen on putting those emotions into music and the perfect partner as it turned out.

Microcosmos Records presents the last full-length album of Noraus.

Max Tsibizov (Noraus) was an incredibly talented author, who left a remarkable imprint in chillout scene with two well-received albums and dozen of compilation tracks.

Noraus almost finished this album, but the work stopped because of his tragic death in August 2018.

Chillout fans and friends were shocked when he passed away. His friends joined their efforts to finish the production of the musical legacy of Noraus.

Eight unreleased tracks of clean and crispy sound, layered ambiance and soft driving beats - all perfectly mixed into the recognizable blend of his musical genius.

BIOGRAPHY:

Dynamic Illusion, also known as Daniel Gyarmati, was born in 1985 in Szombathely, Hungary. Music has been a part of his life since his childhood years. His father’s loves of music also infected him in his early years with his old vinyl classics like Kraftwerk and Jean Michell Jarre.

Daniel spent eight years honing his musical talent at a music conservatory, playing for the local orchestra. After getting his first PC at age 13, he began to discover the musical possibilities of the computer, composing his first pieces of music. At the same time, he became exposed to the DJ scene, attending parties and becoming influenced by the energetic tech sounds of Dave Clark, Chris Liebing, and Umek, as well as the progressive music of DJs like John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, and Max Graham.

Daniel’s musical obsession made him search his inner self for something unique. He was torn: he still loved the energy that techno gave him, but at the same time felt that the genre was regressing. He was in dire need of change and found his real love: progressive house. This was music where you could combine funk, drive, melodies, ass-shaking beats, and awkward sounds all in one, rather than using a single formula that he had grown tired of.

Nowadays he got more than 100 tracks released and many are feedbacked and played by the biggest names from the scene like Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Moshic, Quivver, Solarstone, Lemon8, Jaytech, Fernando Ferreyra, Michael & Levan, Faskil, Kintar and many more...

Besides his work as a producer, Daniel is also credited as being an excellent DJ. His sets these days are as diverse as his productions, blending progressive, breaks, and deep house into a very distinct and atmospheric sound. 

He has been featured with exclusive mixsets on every month, at Frisky Radio (Mindfields) where the intelligent dance music gets the leading part, with co-host Retroid. 

At 2012 he started his own record label called Deep Dive, that is focused for deep house music, and at 2013 the sublabel called Star Dive, wich is the place for he's progressive and break expressions.
