EVA AYLLON - Rítmo, Color y Sabor

Los Shapis, grupo musical tropical peruano, propulsor y difusor de la Chicha (música) como género de música tropical peruana, con más de 31 años de intenso trajinar artístico por los escenarios del Perú, América y Europa, fue fundado en Huancayo el 14 de febrero de 1981 por Jaime Moreyra “El Caballero de la Guitarra” y Julio Simeon “Chapulín el Dulce” .

Llegaron a Lima para quedarse en 1983. Forjadores del proceso de identidad, integración e inclusión que los peruanos vivimos actualmente, iniciaron una corriente que ha generado estudios sociológicos en el Perú y el mundo. Fueron los primeros en tomar el nombre de una danza tradicional "Los Shapis de Chupaca" y decir sobre el escenario a viva voz "Soy provinciano" en una época en que la discriminación azotaba sin piedad a esa oleada de inmigrantes que huía del terrorismo la postración y que buscaba un mejor futuro para sus familias.

En 1985 Los Shapis son aplaudidos por su "cumbia-rock" y confundidos como "colombianos" en el Festival de la Juventudes Nor Sud 85 en Francia. De regreso a casa, conscientes de que tocaban Huayno cantado a voz y guitarra sobre diferentes ritmos, en su mayoría tropicales, deciden buscar y luchar por un nombre más apropiado y que además los identifique como peruanos. Comprometidos con sus orígenes y su lucha por la integración encuentran que la palabra Chicha, bebida ceremonial de sus antepasados Incas, era la palabra perfecta para definir este género.

Vientos de Chicha (1993), 
Chicha con saya (1998), etc.

Created by Producer/Engineer Germán Villacorta (Ozzy Osbourne, Lynch Mob, Juan Gabriel, Eva Ayllón), the studio has been shaped to achieve the quality in sounds he has been printing on his mixing at some of the best commercial studios available for over a decade. Dynamic Wave is a studio available to musicians world wide, “I love the fact that I can be mixing an album for an artist overseas and still have them connected via web cam, allowing them to experience the mixing process and getting involved… despite their distance, the clients have the capacity to provide personal input and live through the mixing process of their album”. 

The Studio’s clientele includes both established and independent musicians such as iconic rock star Ozzy Osbourne, Peruvian songstress Eva Ayllón and EMI ‘s Colombian artist Koyi K Utho. The eclectic collection of styles from all these artists is the biggest reason for the equipment selection, and it is most definitely a contributing element for developing new sounds.
