Dynasty Records was founded in 2007 by Dan Grossman and Nick Dubitzky and is based out of Seattle, WA. Dynasty seeks to bring Jamaican reggae music to a broader market while bridging the genre with cotemporary pop music. Through its music, Dynasty Records is setting new trends in the way reggae is heard worldwide!

Dynasty Productions is the musical hit-making team consisting of Dan Grossman and Michael Gore (MG). These two have been making music together since childhood and from the beginning their range of influences have been wide. Flowing seamlessly from dancehall and hip hop to rhythm n’ blues and pop, Dan and MG have always found their greatest inspiration in reggae and the music of the Caribbean.
Although they were both raised in the Pacific Northwest, MG has been living and producing in New York City since 2007 while Dan has made Seattle his base. Since that time these two have worked with a long list of reggae artists including Sizzla, Vybz Kartel, Lutan Fyah, Capleton, Luciano, Delly Ranx etc. Despite being officially based in Seattle, a city not known for reggae, Dynasty Production’s music has made its way into the hands of some of the top disc jockeys around the world. Such interest in Dynasty’s production quality eventually led to joint productions with various big names in the reggae community.
In 2010 Dynasty built, mixed and mastered the “9 to 5 Riddim” which was released by Bread Back Production out of Kingston, Jamaica. The success of this riddim inspired disc jockey GT Taylor of Irie FM and later ZJ Sparks of Zip FM/Irie FM to contact Dan about co-producing projects. In April 2011, Dynasty Productions built, mixed and mastered the “Steady Flow Riddim” which was released by GT Muzik and featured tunes from Sizzla, Khago, Teflon, Lutan Fyah, Delly Ranx and many more. Only a month later, in May 2011, Dan built, mixed and mastered the “City Streetz Riddim” which Dynasty co-released with ZJ Sparks, one of the most well respected female disc jocks in Jamaica. This riddim also featured some of the top tier of Jamaican recording artists including Warrior King, Sizzla, ZJ Liquid, Professa, Lutan Fyah and more.
Dynasty has worked with international reggae artists including Gentleman, Gappy Ranks, Chukki Star, Winstrong, Ras Attitude and Ras Indio. They also have a stable of American based artists whom they are constantly pushing amongst their other releases. These artists include Bobby Hustle, Kranium, Bookstore, D.W.A.Y., Verbal and Sensation.
As they garner more recognition, Dan and MG are helping to pave the way for a new breed of reggae and dancehall music while remaining true to the foundation they grew up on. Dynasty hopes to help the continued growth of reggae music in the U.S. and worldwide by exposing Jamaican and international talents to new audiences.
