Nervous Horizon is pleased to announce its second release of 2023, Peder Mannerfelt’s ‘Hyperchase’ EP. The Swedish producer’s diverse and multifaceted body of work reaches new heights in the release especially crafted drawing inspiration from the label’s unique musical output. In this dynamic four track EP, Mannerfelt’s individual take on techno lands in the 100BPM realm and moves on in a new rhythmic exploration which take the artist’s production style to hybrid territories.

☄ In May, longtime Vief collaborator halle o’malley got in touch with an idea. She’d come across the Instagram of a 17-year old Palestinian musician called Samih, whose life has been torn apart as a result of Israel's recent onslaught on the Gaza strip. Their home was destroyed, Samih and his family were forced to flee to a refugee camp in Rafah. During their displacement, Samih has gone viral posting videos of himself singing and playing a borrowed oud.
 
☄ Having spoken to Samih, Halle planned to sample one of these videos and donate the proceeds from the sales of the track to a gofundme set up for Samih’s family. She approached the label with the idea of turning this project into a compilation akin to previous Vief fundraiser releases.
 
Taipei-based DJ and producer B E N N, who also runs @overmybodytw is one of our favorite producers. Check out this hybrid percussive club banger.
