The mid-eighties, Madrid. The Spanish capital is teeming under the grip of a musical explosion the likes of which has never been seen before. In the midst of that rabid swirl, a teenager, unknown and unassuming, enters a record shop to blow his savings on an album, Standing on a Beach, by The Cure. Little did he know that this was to be his first step on the long and difficult path to becoming one of the country’s essential djs.

Ancestral Process is an independent techno music label based in Paris, France, founded by passionate in 2020.

Since then, Ancestral Process wants to promote the essence of deep, hypnotic and atmospheric sounds with worked structures, fine elements and deep sonorities.

The fundamental purpose of the label is to perpetuate the electronic music culture by accompanying artists to develop their talents and hypnotism faculties.

Originally from Chile, Cristoned is a young emerging artist on the South American stage.
At his beginning dj in rave for several years, @cristoneddj started production two years ago.

And when he presented us his different compositions, we were very pleasantly surprised by the richness and the singularity of his musical universe.
Although very inspired by artists such as Ben Clock, Oscar Mulero, Remco Beekwilder and Richie Hawtin, the young producer manages to compose a techno with sci-fi sounds, with a lot of percussions and very dense agtmospheres. Thus forming a brutal but deep techno.

Edition 282 marks the long awaited debut of Manuel Anós aka Psyk on the expansive and honorable Tresor Records catalog. The Madrid-based producer had previously released a single track 'Jackin' under the alias Maan back in 2012 on DJ Deep's Kern Vol. 01 compilation.
Psyk takes the stage with a four-track solo EP ‘Works’, also including a digital bonus track. On both side’s first positions – with ‘Definition’ and ‘Balance’ – Psyk delivers electrifying tracks teetering on the boundaries of hypnosis. On the inner-rims, Psyk slows down the pace with ’Stigma’ and ‘Lowdown’, introducing some industrial tones to his techno equation.

When this belter of a live PA from Concept of Thrill hit our inbox, we had a strong feeling we were in for a treat! We've had our eyes on the Poland-born producer for some time now, with releases on the likes of Distorted Perception, Circular Limited and Sonntag Morgen, and being pulled in the directions of Berlin, Georgia and throughout Poland to share his sound... What follows from this understated producer is an incredible hour of predominantly unreleased live material directly from his studio, offering up consistent drive comprised of pulsating rhythms and pounding grooves, broken beats and powerful atmospheric, sweeping leads. We're inspired to the max and are thrilled to share yet another very special recording with you as a perfect mid-week pick-me-up. Be prepared!
