So, about a month ago, I was in a little bit of a creative rut (and totally in denial about it) "Yeah, I can totally finish music whenever I want, I just feel like doing nothing & playing CS:GO instead" is what I would tell myself (and believe). One weekend, I decided I’d leave my studio (where I spend most of my time alone) and instead spent a few days with a friend of mine. As an extension of being around her I found that creativity was inherent within me (and everyone for that matter), it just required me to see things from a new perspective. Unfortunately, it's not something I can just alter at will, regardless of my awareness of it. So, I decided, seems my friend indirectly & serendipitously triggered an adjustment in my perspective that it should be acknowledged & named accordingly.

The reason I didn't put it out a month ago is because, I'd never planned to release this track, I planned to give it to my friend and that's it. However, after a month of sitting on it, we both decided it'd be nice to give it away for free, and it also correlates with the fact that I just hit 30,000 followers on Soundcloud, so, thanks for that! I'm so stoked that people are supporting my weird ass music this heavily ^_^

100 BPM Psychedelic Breaks with plenty of melodies, harmony, glitch and FX. I'm not a buddhist but I think their ideas with regard to knowledge, detachment and compassion make sense. 

To me, knowledge is about science. Knowing that everything has a cause (determinism) allows us to build a framework to understand reality (we understand there are reasons people behave certain ways). Doing so without invoking god(s) or free will we are left with a nihilistic view of reality. This nihilism leads to detachment (allowing us interact with reality as is, without the emotional preconceptions). It then takes "a good heart" or "love" to turn this into compassion for the external world. Without compassion scientific nihilism is a dangerous mental state. The climax in the song is meant to show this compassionate state, the rest is the build up toward this state.

I create uplifting Norwegian techno music, driven by a passion for sharing my sound with the world. Born in 1982 near the Arctic Circle, I turned 42 the year I wrote this biography. My trademark style is all about expressing raw emotion—nothing is suppressed in my music; instead, it comes alive.

While my music may be complex and unique, its appeal is universal, and understanding it doesn't take a genius. My oldest tracks are rooted in projects I began when I was 18 to 23 years old. Back then, my focus was on crafting captivating melodies rather than sticking to basic dance rhythms.

The rhythmic component became a part of my work only 3-5 years ago, prompting me to revisit and reproduce my earlier tracks with the help of the riff machine. This tool has allowed me to transform some pieces into vibrant, colorful soundscapes. These tracks have since been improved countless times, and my growing confidence continues to fuel my belief in my work. That belief isn’t just an assumption—it’s a reality confirmed through dedication.

Currently, I’m diving into sequences, an exciting new element in my music. They’re fresh territory for me, and I’m committed to keeping them dynamic and engaging.

I started producing electronic music in 1995 using Scream Tracker/Impulse Tracker on a PC. I switched to Reason (www.propellerheads.se) when it came out and have been using that ever since. 

My name is a play on the word dyslect (dyslexia). When I was 13 years old I was diagnosed with mild dyslexia. My handwriting is awful and I can't help making mistakes while reading but I learn relatively well and I have had some weird experiences with extreme mathematical pattern recognition and memory retrieval. I think my brain is tuned for beautiful abstractions like music, physics and software and that my mild dyslexia is a side effect of that.
