[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents the second chapter of its 79th release: Francesco Tamburrano – The Gambler. Postscript I

Venice shrouded in a haze of electric reflections, canals stretching like lines of fate, masks on faces, and behind them – rhythms that govern the mind. Francesco Tamburrano (@ft-dubtechno) returns with The Gambler. Postscript I – a remix album. Since the original album was a musical reinterpretation of the novel The Gambler by Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky, the continuation is conceptually shaped exclusively by Russian dub techno masters. They rewrote the album’s map like chess players maneuvering through time and space. Eight tracks, eight remixes, each crafted by Russian artists fluent in the dialects of shadow, echo, and spatial depth.

The album opens with “Alexei Ivanovich (Nebula Alchemists (@enercube and @x_fr) Intro)” – an atmospheric portal into introspection, a soft gamble of fate. “Madame de Cominges” is transformed twice: the Chain Selector (@chainselector) and Cossmann (@cossmann-music) remixes construct elegant labyrinths of tension and release, where every beat is a strategic move. “Polina Alexandrovna” unfolds in three interpretations: German F (@german_fed), Sergio Sincopa (@sergiosincopa), and Ekstendia (@ekstendia) reveal her melancholic charm and hidden shades, turning the track into a deep dive through layered textures and hypnotic pulses. “Marquis de Grieux (Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube and @x_fr) Flashback Mix)” vibrates with nostalgia and the rhythm of desire. “Mlle Blanche (BLOMAQ (@blomaq) Remix)” closes the cycle, leaving the listener suspended between light and shadow.

Each composition is alchemy: Francesco’s original vibrations blend with the Russian perspective on dub techno, creating an auditory space where time bends and sound becomes matter. The Gambler. Postscript I is not just a remix album – it’s a game with chaos, an exploration of structure, a descent into a hypnotic labyrinth. For [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], this release is a symbol of dialogue, transformation, and fearless pursuit of the new. Enter the game anew: every remix is a roll of the dice, every texture a portal to the unknown, every sound a moment of revelation.

Having carved out a lane truly his own in the often harshly competitive world of techno, Argentinian-born / Barcelona-based producer Sebastian Lopez, alias Flug, has long proven to be no bit player in the scene and his compositions have kept signalling a fighting fit producer, whose highest standards of floor skippering and experimentation-friendly approach have never failed him over the years. Resurfacing three years after the drop of his debut vinyl album, 'In Safe Hiding', Flug clocks in on Quartz Rec with 'Flug I - The Collection' - a long-player bound to reconnect fully with the club and produce very energetic tracks that represent the techno he loves playing during his DJ sets. All tracks were originally written on tour, on the plane or in hotel rooms to better capture the dancefloor's vibe, using field recordings from around the globe and later processed in the studio via his analogue arsenal of preference.
 
Displaying the many octaves of his craft through great spreads of high-impact club engineering and frenzy-whipping mechanics, Flug takes us on a pulsating ride across the history of dance music - taking cues from Detroit's own cosmo-telluric tramplers from back the Underground Resistance armada's heyday, the Roman scene's classic acidulous four-to-the-floors, Berlin's big-room-busting DNA, dredged with a hint of dubby exploratory manoeuvres a la Maurizio. Both mineral in strength but liquid in its flowing abilities, Lopez's newest extension into the deep and intricate realms of club music collages without pastiching, extracts without bleeding dry, forming the backbone to an assortment of cuts that shall awake the restless dancer in you with optimal effect.
 
If tracks like the lushly verbed-out 'Ephos' and 'Sequences From The Black Basement' perhaps best define the track collection's overall headspace, merging Flug's trademark melodic shine with further obliterating rhythms that are sure to lay absolute waste in their wake, others like 'Mars' and 'Hyperventilation' go straight for the jugular with their deadly mix of paced-up martial rhythmics and elliptical grooves gone amok. Just as easy steering the focus into further leftfield-friendly horizons, like on the droney 'Ratio', via the freaky acid-popping of 'Box In A Box' and ambitious width of scope of 'A Different Choice', Lopez delivers something of a life-affirming message with this choice selection of club-oriented delicacies; drawing as much inspiration and energy from the dancefloors Flug got to become intimate with, as he intends to reflect such inspirational forces and energies across the rooms.

Flug’s new label is an in-depth project that the Argentinian artist has been developing for a long time and finally comes to its birth, commencing its own path. After more than fifteen years working as a DJ and producer, Barcelona based Flug has been releasing music in the most relevant electronic music labels, surpassing the encapsulated techno genre and embracing a much wider musical perspective. Existentia’s label might be the sum up of his trajectory, always characterized by a profound commitment to creating and playing outstanding music and a devoted passion for his profession. "Body Tales" EP comes with 4 tracks, each one unique on its approach to techno and beyond. It starts with "Electronic Mesures": a timeless, melodic and memorable electro track that enforces positive and strong energy. It could be, just freeing imagination, an epic closing track after an all night long powerful set. "Body Tales" a timeless track that gives name to Existentia’s first release, delivers suspense and an engaging rhythm: refined drummy techno to non stop dancing. "Time Shift" goes deeper and faster: it’s cleverly built to make your body move and your mind depart into an introspective voyage. Progression is an arid and hectic tune, but without excesses, delivering a thinking-forward dancefloor track to be played when the crowd is needing intensity.
