This is an old Irish Folk instrumental song called “Rambler” that I found on a website full of Irish folk music.  I’m fascinated by Irish folk music, so I wrote lyrics to the song, (15 years ago) and just ran the vocal only through Suno.ai and asked it to ‘cover’ the song.  I was amazed at how true the music stayed to the Irish Folk roots.  I’d love to hear what you think. 

RAMBLER:

The song was recorded with the participation of musician Yuri Vorobyov, who used in the recording ( in next ones to come): Acoustics Takamin pro series 5, Electric guitar - Fender Stratocaster deluxe. The RME audio converter. Microphones are Rode and Soyuz. Daw - Cocos Reaper. The arrangement used his personal samples, as well as VST instruments and synthesizers. Sound engineer Igor Savin also took part in recording the vocals in his mini-studio.	

This song was written in the spring of 2016 after chatting online with Tatiana Aho, Finland, whose poem inspired the creation of this song. Special thanks to her for that. But only now have we managed to record it in good quality and publish it, with rapid distribution across all major music platforms cooperating with Soundcloud. So, it is published on Soundcloud on 04/22/2026 for worldwide release in mid-May as 3d song of the EP "A few words about love again" (which will include 4 love songs), dedicated to my wife Galina (G.Ch .), whose active participation in my life since 2018 has helped a lot in showing my "second wind" these days.

Why can we feel profoundly connected to someone we've only just met, yet disconnected from people we've known our entire lives?

That question lies at the heart of "Architecture of Belonging," a new single from GRAMMY®-nominated guitarist, composer, and producer Noshir Mody in collaboration with New York-based Dutch vocalist, educator, clinical psychologist, and Fulbright Scholar Vivienne Aerts. Written in minutes after quietly evolving over decades, the work weaves together a global musical vocabulary rooted in Indian, Middle Eastern, and Spanish influences.

THE STORY

Growing up in Mumbai, India, experiencing family upheaval, and immigrating alone to the United States at the age of twenty-two, Mody spent much of his life questioning what it truly means to belong. Over time, that question evolved into a deeper curiosity—not what belonging is, but what allows it to manifest.

That lifelong inquiry became "Architecture of Belonging."

THE COLLABORATION

Following their collaboration on "A Kiss Beneath the Stars" from Mody's Abstractions album, Aerts was the natural choice to help realize the vision for "Architecture of Belonging." Her work bridges music, psychology, improvisation, and immersive artistic experiences, making her uniquely suited to a work exploring the nature of human connection.

Rather than serving as a traditional lead vocalist, Aerts transforms her voice into an instrument—building evolving layers of harmony and texture that surround and interact with Mody's acoustic guitar. The dark and mysterious guitar plays the role of the protagonist, while the layered vocals create the emotional landscape and immersive soundstage.

Over the course of just over four minutes, "Architecture of Belonging" unfolds as a transformative listening experience through three interconnected movements, culminating in a sense of peace through understanding, forgiveness, and acceptance.
