Author of a remarkable "Moving Corridors" contribution on the mighty "Elektro Diktators Vol.1 - The French Dissidents" compilation (NF15) back in 2015, dynArec delivers today on Umwelt's imprint four raw and dystopian slaughters calibrated for maximum impact on the dancefloor.
The title track signs a no nonsense aquatic electro/techno tune a la Drexciya, tinted with melancholic strings and heading Speak n' Spell samples. Pure madness! Cyberpunk "Correlation" goes harder, offering a pounding 4/4 song enhanced by appealing vocoder lyrics and deep synth flights while syncopated "Influoncers" coming next focuses on a more robotic, experimental yet unhealthy approach. Final cut "Clean It Up" concludes the EP on a machine funk note characterised by insane female vocals, distorted chords, relentless bassline and futuristic touch throughout.
Magnetic and emotional, forward thinking "Disenchanted EP" alternates in a minute between very melodic moments and epic hard techno sequences. Artist emerging from the rave scene, Noize Maker is animated by a dark and acid techno with heavy and powerful basses, hyperactive Producer, he signs on Kobayashi recordings the label of the legendary Al Ferox official.

As a teenager, he drew his influences from the rave party movement as well as from the songs of Arnaud Rebotini, THE HACKER, Terence Fixmer and David Carretta.
At the age of 19, he bought his first analog machines and never stopped enriching his set up as soon as the opportunity comes.

Passionate about the warm grain of old synthesizers, he cultivates a techno with EBM shades that bewitches the dance floors that he likes to make them dance hard.

“Mirror Glaze Lavish” is Marc’s latest effort in trying to depict his cynical and disillusioned view of the present-day music scene, seen through a sonic magnifier that emphasizes its greatest controversies, by juxtaposing different electronic languages as a challenge to the current levelling artistic trends. The artist personality is nullified, standardized to a state of placid non-critical thinking. Everyday’s emptiness emerges as the structure of reality and only the cracks in it still lead to life. “Great souls suffer in silence”, once said Friedrich Schiller, but what if silence becomes an audible, danceable image? As if all these electro cuts, differently permeated with a balanced mix of playful darkness, were populated by eerie animals that cannot find peace with their habitat and keep dancing relentlessly until the very end of their miserable existence. Seen in this context, each of Marc’s tracks must be interpreted as an irreverent and poignant act of self-assertion vis-à-vis his contemporaries. Morah’s reinterpretation of “Celexxa” adds value to the original track, taking us for a dirty ride on a psycho-electro-charged rollercoaster.

I realised that I had more rock, punk, metal  and hardcore vinyl in Chamonix than I though, definitely enough to prepare a one hour mixtape. While living in Brussels, I used to make gazillions of rock, metal, punk and hardcore mixtapes for my friends, spending time on the vinyl selection and on the K7 artwork carefully prepared around the tracklist: it was so much fun!  Here I selected loads of tracks that made my day back in the eighties: yes, this is part of what got me into techno: dig in!

Confinement Mix 008 - Punk Rock, Hardcore and a bit of Metal!

1) Jethro Tull - Locomotive Breath (1971)
Jethro Tull is the first rock band I saw back in 1978. My father took me to this gig. I immediately wanted to use the flute I was learning at school to play rock! 

2) ZZ Top - Brown Sugar (1971)
Billy Gibbons was a big inspiration to play blues and rock. I saw them live the first time when Eliminator came out, in 1983 I think.

3) Aerosmith - Walk the Dog (1973)
We used to listen to them all the time when we were skateboarding. Boston finest. Saw them live once in 1983.

4) Kiss - Parasite (1974)
We saw them live in 1980 (at the time of Dynasty), with - believe it or not - Iron Maiden opening - classic! I saw them once again in 1983 during their no make up phase and got their autographs that time.  I saw them one last time when they reformed in 1996 in Donington, UK.

5) Ted Nugent - Dog Eat Dog (1976)
6) Ted Nugent - Cat Scratch Fever (1977)
Back in the day, Ted Nugent was the shit guitar-wise. Constantly on rotation in all the skateparks and on our turntables. I saw him once in 1981 at Forest National, Brussels. We were blown away as, in addition of him, there were 3 additional guitar players in the backing band - nuts! He is the first autograph I got in my long career of autograph hunter.

7) AC/DC - Sin City (1978)
I saw AC/DC with Bon Scott in Brussels in November 1979. It was the first time my brother and I went to a gig without our father or mother. Judas Priest was opening. It was really scary to be 'alone' in such gig with all the hard rock and metalhead, but very exiting at the same time. A few months later Bon died in his vomit in London. 

8) Van Halen - Running with the Devil (1978)
Such a game changer when these guys appeared - the showmanship of David Lee Roth, the guitar wizards of Eddie Van Halen. I missed the 1978 appearance in Brussels - a big regret... I saw David Lee Roth as a solo act a few years later, but of course it was not the same...

9) Blackfoot - Road Fever (1979)
Not sure how they came about, but I liked Blackfoot right away. Crossing the genre between Southern boogie rock and hard rock. Plus, they were native indians, and that was really cool. A couple of classic albums under their belt. Saw them once opening for Scorpions 82 or 83....

10) Rose Tatoo - Let it Go (1981)
Angry boys. One of the first tattooed bands in the open. I saw them once much later in London around 2004 and they were absolutely smashing the Underworld in Camden. Bad boy for life!

11) The Joe Perry Project - No Substitute for Arrogance (1981)
One of my face guitar player. Saw him with Aerosmith in 1983 and I brought my JPP album for signing, which he very nicely did - pure rock'nroll.

12) Blue Oyster Cult - Godzilla (1982)
Never saw BOC live, (not even sure they ever played in Belgium) but always loved this track - imagine Godzilla walking down the street while a hard rock band plays in the background - perfect.

13) Manowar - Death Tone (1982)
Ross the Boss used to be the guitar player of the Dictators, and we loved the Dictators... I stopped following them after this first album, and never saw them live. Years later I bumped into Handsome Dick Manitoba (the singer of the Dictators) that had just opened a bar in New York's Lower East Side and was serving us beers (!!!), but that's another story.

14) Twisted Sister - Destroyer (1982)
The first time I tried to play some hard rock as a band, we started by covering this track - at least we tried - so I have a special bond to this track and this band. The guy playing the drum in this first project was Phil B (we were rehearsing at his mother's house), who later on became one of the most amazing metal drummer in Belgium with Sixty Nine and then Channel Zero - RIP Phil!   Saw them once back in the day and took some good pictures of the gig that are buried in a box somewhere.

15) Blue Cheer - Babylon (1985)
They were at the forefront of playing loud music early on, together with the Stooges and MC5...  Never saw them live...

Después de destruir algunas de las pistas de baile más renombradas de Europa junto a CLFT Militia, E-Care conoce a Joel (productor y  multiinstrumentalista), con quien comparte la convicción de que los estándares se han convertido en aburridos y redundantes.

El primer EP de Beyond Techno está destinado para The Outsider Syndrome, el dúo formado por E-Care y Joel.

Après avoir intégré pendant plusieurs années le crew Lyonnais CLFT Militia, E-Care rencontre Joel (producteur, instrumentiste). Venant respectivement d'Espagne (Bilbao) et du Venezuela (Caracas), ils partagent la conviction que les standards actuels sont trop monotones et lassants. 
 
Ils s'enferment alors en studio pendant de longues périodes pour créer un univers à partir de moogs rageants, reverbs à ressorts, drum machines et guitares électriques.
 
Un son avant tout dark & méticuleux qui se retrouve aussi bien dans leurs compositions que sur scène dans leur tout nouveau live set.

The Outsider Syndrome crafts cinematographically flavored techno inspired by rock, darkwave and 70's paranoid thrillers.

After having destroyed some of the most renown dancefloors in Europe with CLFT Militia, E-Care meets Joel (producer, multi-instrumentalist) with whom he shares the conviction that the standards have become dull and redundant.

Coming from Bilbao (Spain) and Caracas (Venezuela) respectively, the two producers have spent countless hours in the studio constructing a universe with raging moogs, spring reverbs, live-performed polyphonic synths, drum machines and a Les Paul guitar.

A dark and meticulously crafted sound, forging a blend of dark analog retro techno and melody-based composition that you can experience in their new Live Set.

TL Premiere : The Outsider Syndrome - Escape Ladder [Beyond Techno - Musical UFO's]

Spanish raised and Lyon-based Iker has been exploring the spectre of techno crossing borders with no fear. Post rock, Techno, New wave, Electro, New Beat and retro stuff blended between the +8/-8 pitch range of his Technics.

No place for millennial stuff in the set up, we are talking about old school. Vinyls and mixers at dj booth, hardware synths, drum machines and fx’s at studio. 15 years behind the decks, four of them in being 50% of the CLFT Militia (one of the embryos of the new French techno scene) do not give a chance to doubt. They have destroyed some of the most renowned dancefloors in Europe.

After a break isolated from electronic music, taking time to dive into the studio and letting vanish previous projects tails, now he comes back renewed, recharged, regenerated. He loves what he does and he will keep steady away from trends.
