Tanat Teeradakorn (b. 1991 Bangkok, TH)
Tanat Teeradakorn is a multi-disciplinary artist, musician, DJ, and graphic designer based in Bangkok, Thailand. Working across multiple mediums including sound, music, performance, text, printmaking, merchandise design, and installation.
By combines fragments of his biography, memory, data, and historical narratives where multiple fragments of story and information collide, juxtapose, and are transformed into new bodies of work. Tanat’s work interrogates the ways in which cultural narrative constructs, circulates, and replicates across media, culture, and spatial context.

The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, and Israel’s collective punishment of Palestinian civilians are intolerable. On top of that, the military actions threaten the lives of the remaining hostages in the Gaza-Strip, and even more innocent people in Gaza.

Selenicereus grandiflorus is native to the Greater Antilles, specifically the islands of Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti. It can also be found growing among trees and rocks in countries across Central and South America, including Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Colloquially known as the “Queen of the Night”, Selenicereus grandiflorus produces majestic, nocturnally blooming flowers that open once a year before withering. When in annual bloom the flowers reach up to a foot in diameter and emit a fragrant vanilla aroma. The flowers are supported by a tangled mass of spiny stems that grow thicker and stronger with each annual flowering, and are sometimes harvested for use in homeopathic remedies to improve heart health. Due to the uniquely transient beauty of this cactus, Selenicereus grandiflorus is considered a rewarding addition to any collection.

Walking through the trees as the rain fell, he could hear little but for the tiny pitter patter of raindrops as they touched upon leaves and formed small puddles beneath his feet. It was cold out here in the wild, yet despite being lonely in the middle of nowhere he felt more at home than ever before. Perhaps he was made for the wild places, the wild spaces in the great beyond. He was looking for a mythical creature, a great beast. Blacksiris was his name and they told tall tales of his wicked trips in the murky mountains. 

OL is a producer on whom we have been keeping a close eye. With appearances on the likes of Muscut, FIT Sound and Motion Ward he is well versed in abstract electronics and has a distinctive 'out there' sound which offers as many questions as it does answers. His latest release is for gost zvuk, a label with which he is close.
