ED:iktion - Hard Techno/Techno (Mixes & Tracks)

From the years 2013 - 2015 I played a live weekly Webcast on Lache FM which then changed it's name to Flipside Radio.  The show was called "In The Mix". 
I successfully performed Over 100 Live Webcasts and also a Number of Live Radio broadcasts too. So to keep the memories these live studio mixes are all my best tracks. I hope you enjoy all the mixes and all the different genres.

April Bounce Mix - 2021

The bootleg of Paul Van Dyke's "for an Angel" and Rachel Mcfarlane Lover was massive track and it still gets used in 2021 when Boris lets us that is ha.  I wanted to make this more of a trance track then a bounce remix, so i hope you all enjoy it.

Ediktion - What's Mine Is Yours(Sample)

People have been asking me over the last few months to record some more mixes. So i will up load a few more from now untill next October. Because i always said i would do Studio - Bedroom mixes untill i was 50. That's when im 50 haha.  There are other things I want to concentrate on in music.

These next few mixes will mostly be all the tracks i used to play when i was Djing. Back in the olden days. My last event was Opening Party for Bouncin at the live rooms in Feb 2020. Music is therapeutic to me so im going nowhere. All the tracks i pick for the next few mixes are in my opinion some of the best tracks from that time. Have a listen and see what you think. I hope it tickles your ears.

Best Of Bounce Vol 1(Aug 2024)

I recently recorded two mixes a couple of days apart from each other.  These two mixes are a follow up to Best of Bounce 1.  Both these mixes feature most of the tracks I used to play when I was Djing alot before Plandemic. Even through these mixes are called Best of Bounce I also play Hard Dance -Hard House tracks. The Second mix which is Best of Bounce 3 is 2 hours long. I will upload this later today 22-4-25. Really enjoyed recorded these mixes, hope they tickle your ears. 😉

As i explained in my last description this was recorded a couple of days after Number 2. This mix starts recording from the last track on number 2. This Mix is 2 hours long. The flow of the mix isnt as good as the previous two mixes but you be the judge have a listen. Not just Bounce Music on this mix but alot of harder stuff , Hard Dance and Hard House. I could of played some Vocal tracks in any of the last three mixes but i wanted to stay away from the vocals for now. 
Big shout out to all the Producers that have featured on these last three mixes. I wont be recording any more mixes like this anymore, so it was nice remembering some of these when i used to play them before C-19, respect to all the ravers who still listen.

Classic Summer Mix 2 - May 2018

I have been told this is the best Vinyl mix i have ever done. It wasn't just the mixing it was the tracks. All quality, classic Bouncy house, scouse, what ever you want to call it haha. Have a listen.  I remember doing this mix around christmas time i think it was. I was lucky though on some of the mixes as they fell lovely. Hope you enjoy it people.

March Bounce Mix - 2019

I have been asked to play more of an old school classic bounce set for this event. This promo wasn't the ideal set i wanted to play due to some of the tracks being of a poor mp3 quality.  But i enjoyed recording the promo and i look forward to seeing everyone down there on the 20th April.  Watch this space because i have another Bounce mix for March set to be recorded before the end of the month.

April Bounce Mix -2019

May Bounce Mix - 2019

Firstly big shout out to all the ravers who have been listening, sharing and liking my mixes. respect to all of you. I hope you like this one. This mix contains most of the tracks i played in my first two sets at the Live Rooms in Chester, last December for Mad Friday and in March for Saturday Night Live. Thanks to my other half for the collaboration with me on picking some of the tracks as well. It's good sometimes to go back and have a look before i go forward to August and hopefully another brand new Bounce Set. Lastly big respect to every producer who feature in this mix. :-)

September Bounce Mix -2019

This is the next track i have completed entirely on my own. 

This track is called This Bounce is Rock'in 2020.
Absolutely gutted i have finished this because i really enjoying it haha.  

Respect to Run - Dmc , Marco V ,  There is an original which features Scooter. Also Peter Maffay and Rolf Zuckowski who wrote the original vocal back in 1983.  But this is the remix of that track without the vocal.
 I hope all you ravers enjoy this sample, this track will feature in my June Bounce Mix.

Latest track i have produced entirely on my own is my remix of the old school classic from 1992, D- Cruze - Life. What a tune this was back in the day. Massive respect to the producer of this original track. I hope you like this one ravers.

December Bounce Mix - 2020

A big happy new year to everyone who has listened to my music this year. Thank you for all the support. See you in 2021. 
Latest remix i have produced. Great hard house track back in the day. Chopper, Seven Hours In A Bathroom. This track was originally produced in 1998.  Respect to Chopper. I hope you all enjoy it. 

in this track, without mentioning the structure and arrangement which I obviously did. I created from scratch one of the kicks. two different hi hats, one open, one closed. one type of bassline. The two main leads. And two risers. 👍

Seven Hours In A Bathroom -Remix (Sample)

I was asked a few times to remix this track. My favorite trance track from this era. If you don't know the original of this track then you haven't lived. One of the best tracks ever in this genre. Respect is due to everyone involved in the original track. I hope you all enjoy it.

MY STORY

Multi Genre DJ who started mixing on an old set of belt drive Pro 150s in the summer of 1992. There was only one thing you could mix once upon a time, that was with VINYL, there was no hiding back then.  Being a time served VINYL DJ with over 30 years experience I wouldn't change a thing. Proper musical education from a magical time. 

In 2015 I started my own Show on Lache Fm/Flipside Radio called IN THE MIX. 
I recorded over 100 live Webcasts and many live radio broadcasts too. Big thank you to Chris Sutton, Shack, Creedy, and all the team down there for some very happy memories. 

Fast forward to 2018 when I first started getting someone taking a bit of notice and that was Shaun Winter ,got to give him and Joe Taylor a mention because they were the only two in the whole of the music scene that gave me a chance at first. I was then resident for BoUnC:N in 2020 which was for 2 years. I was also booked for the Ultimate Getaway Maguluf and Rock The Park in Wrexham but Covid arrived at our doors and after two years of cancelling I decided to step away from the scene. 

Music will always be a therapeutic need for me. But unfortunately due to my health at the moment I may never DJ again or even have this as a hobby due to my Heart Attack which I had in June of this year (2025). Which has also lead me to having other health issues too. 

Big shout out to all the ravers who still listen to my music, glad your all still enjoying the tunes 🎶. 

Lastly I would like to say a massive thank you to Missy for being there for me as she always has and also all the close family members and friends who have supported through this time. Love you all 💙
