I've always had a penchant for down beat music. Dizzy Now embraces that feel and tempo, but has a good amount of emotion and power--especially in the choruses. It's maybe a little bit trippy with cello, strings, and vocals weaving in and out, and around the steady guitars and power chords.

"Hands of a Surgeon" was written thanks to the inspiration of my friend and novelist, Suzie Carr, and her novel, "The Muse." As I've done in the past for Suzie, she asked me to consider writing another theme song for an audio book version of one of her novels--this time "The Muse." "Hands of a Surgeon" is the latest effort, preceded by "Hope Steele...Follow Your Heart" from Suzie's novel "Inner Secrets." 

This is the vocal version of "Hands of a Surgeon." The instrumental version of the song will be featured on the audio book version of Suzie Carr's "The Muse" later in 2015. Hope you enjoy!

There's a certain noir feel to "B-Film. Something classic and crooner-like. I'm not sure I've described it the way it probably deserves. All I know is that these things are what the song presented to me and I went it it...didn't fight it. And, here it is.

Conspire (Demo)

"Saved" is a song I wrote for the The Washington Animal Rescue League in 2011. It was used as the backing track to their promotional/fundraising video (created by my dear friend, Mia Regalado) and presented at the 2011 annual reception held at Union Station in Washington, DC. This version--albeit a demo by most standards--was polished up/re-mixed nicely by another good friend, Omar Cuellar. Here's hoping that now the song has a life of its own, aside from the original commission.
