I wrote this song shortly after receiving a lot of hate from my song "Caught Up In The Moment". I thought to myself, "Why can't people just be supportive and show support for someone doing what they love to do?" My answer...people that aren't doing nothing, aren't going anywhere, they're the ones that hate because they hate the way their lives are and they're too scared to do something about it. This track is about determination and never letting the opinions of others stop you from chasing your dreams. Along with some lyrical finesse and creativity, I tell the story of E-Kaine. E-Kaine is a rapper who's fast flow, strong lyrics, and dynamic sound set him apart from the normal hip-hop crowd and it scares people because it's new! People don't like what they're not comfortable with and they especially don't like new things. This project is the embodiment of motivation, determination, and passion.
