Motorsport i historiske racerbiler er kendt for at give både spænding, gåsehud og masser af nostalgi. Men det giver så meget mere, når man spørger deltagerne i de historiske racerløb.

Hans kongelige højhed Prins Joachim deltager i historisk motorsport sammen med vennerne Martin Berner og Oscar Davidsen Siesbye i racerteamet Cortina Racing. De tre fortæller om oplevelserne i en ny podcast fra Dansk Automobil Sports Union, hvor de blandt meget kommer ind på følelsen, når de kontrollerer racerbiler på helt ude på grænsen af det fysisk mulige. 

Samtalen går lige fra begyndelsen med at kigge bilkort i skolegården over de første oplevelser i sporten til besøg på udenlandske racerbaner. I forbindelse med et løb på Grand Prix-banen Spa-Francorchamps i Belgien taler HKH Prins Joachim om følelsen af at være ét med sin racerbil.
