Mark Louque, a.k.a. Father Figure @the-father-figure, is originally from a small town just outside of New Orleans. He's spent the last decade curating magic nightlife experiences all around the U.S. Mark is the founder of FAGBASH the longest-running weekly queer event in the country. He's also a founding member of TRAX ONLY, a record label and DJ collective producing massive events in and around the Crescent City. Mark is known for his unexpected genre hopping sets which are best documented in his most recent project: Nightshade FM @nightshade_fm

Campout is an experience that we meticulously curate from start to finish; finding an artist that can connect the dots and close the festival is never an easy task. When asking artists to play, we always encourage them to stay through the festival in its entirety. This is the best way to truly understand what the festival is and what the community brings. 

This brings us to @ciel_dj, who we view as one of the most talented and hardworking DJ/producers in dance music. She's put in the work with her own music but also with her community in Toronto. We fully trusted her to step up and give us all proper send off. From slamming house to funky tech house rollers, Ciel gifted the crowd the energy to make it across the finish line. The ending track, 'Right Here' by SWV was damn near perfection.

"In creating this mix, I embarked on a musical journey through my memories and perceptions of Latin America. I explored archives of traditional music, kitschy soundtracks, and complex music deconstructions, seeking sounds that evoked specific places and landscapes. Unintentionally, all of my selections shared a common element: they expressed lament. This emotion served as the guiding theme for the journey, steeped in the sadness of contemplating 'what if…' 'What have we lost?'"

@gio_goltara (Giovani Goltara, he-him) has discovered that electronic dance music is where he feels most comfortable expressing himself. Ever since his early rave days, he's been drawn to electronic beats infused with Latin American rhythms. 

Digging through records from the 1990s, GIO uncovered a treasure of productions that appropriated diverse sonorities from the global south. 
Now, he's on a mission to bring these sounds back and re-appropriate them for queer dance events, particularly in Berlin, where he's been organizing parties since 2021. 

One of his standout events is Coven, which focuses on celebrating queer Latin American culture through music and dance.

El House juega un papel fundamental en mi vida, al igual que en la de muchas personas queer y migrantes. Junto con los afrodescendientes, los latinos han  fusionado raíces para crear el estilo musical que nos hace bailar hacen décadas. Mis primeras raves, yá a los 26 años, me hicieron sentir parte de una escena artística única. Como estudiante y profesor de historia del arte, me di cuenta de que era parte de una expresión artística que aún no se enseñaba en la universidad. Desde entonces, el House y el baile han sido mi mayor fascinación artística.
Para este mix, seleccioné vinilos y tracks recientes producidos por personas que comparten experiencias de vida similares a las mías. Seguro que muchos los compré mientras estaba bien colocado de marihuana. ¡Parece que yo y la hierba tenemos un bello gusto musical en común! Entonces ahí están 39 tracks que me hacen tripear :)
