Quatre ans après sa première sortie sur Stand High Records avec “Another Night” et suite au succès de ses deux mixtapes enregistrées pour Stand High Patrol, Stepart revient étoffer le catalogue du label avec “Playground” son premier album. Onze tracks principalement instrumentales, à l’exception d’un featuring avec Pupajim, où les basses abyssales côtoient les nappes de synthé analogiques.

Porté par des rythmiques d'une finesse redoutable et un sens de la mélodie manifeste, "Playground" révèle ses subtilités au fil des écoutes. Le souci accordé aux détails est saisissant, et l’album ne peut s’envisager autrement que dans sa globalité. Stepart y joue avec les styles. Il y présente son univers et, au grès des courant musicaux, il nous invite à arpenter ses terrains de jeux favoris.

Avec son lot de Sub Bass et ses mixs soignés, “Playground” nous renvoie à la grande époque des débuts du dubstep ; celle des LP fondateurs influencés par le reggae. Enregistré à Paris entre 2014 et 2016, l’album constitue une véritable porte ouverte sur le Lost World Studio. Libre à qui le souhaite de venir s’y installer!

Following the massive success of « Another night » Stepart is back on Stand High Records with his debut LP. « Playground » takes listeners on a deep bass journey and presents exclusive tracks crafted with the Parisian producer's subtle mixing technique and attention to detail.

Recorded between 2014-2016 « Playground » is a tribute to the golden era of dub influenced dubstep with ten instrumental tracks as well as one vocal by Pupajim. Playing with styles, Stepart elegantly breaks the rules and invites you to settle in his "Lost World Studio".

Accredited Producer and Roots Reggae artist, E.N Young has produced over 800 songs out of his own Imperial Sound Recording Studio in San Diego, California. This includes his own albums, the latest being Forest Wilderness which exemplifies his ability to manufacture novel sound in a relatively niche genre. 

E.N Young has been a frontline soldier for Reggae music his entire life, joining world music band Stranger in 2002 after having an eclectically musical childhood. After four studio albums, E.N dove into his solo career, rendering his first album Luck & Chance No More under his own Roots Musician Label by 2010. Roots Musician Records, as well as E.N Young’s Imperial Sound Recording Studio, has become a mecca for roots reggae artists ever since. As for production credits, E.N Young has worked with current headlining acts, like Pepper, Rebelution, Stick Figure, Slightly Stoopid, Trevor Hall, Million Stylez, Sizzla, Lutan Fyah, Don Carlos  and beyond.
