Baby genius, double-helix, twin guards. Paranormal mechanism. A stupid child in the woods. A stunt double is a parody of the actor.

"The process. And by means of the process..."

An origamic architecture. A skybox and its cycle. Splayed outward into a map, then refolded and enclosed around the camera. Plot holes and palindromes. Kneading, folding, plotting, cooking. Tension between ingredients and recipe.

"Talk went ambiguous. Abstractions passed as facts. A euphemistic language asserted itself."

Orchid bloom / perfect beauty. Clipping tools, steamy greenhouse, heavy water, hidden reefs. Stages and sets. Short-term improvisation. An Organization - branches growing independently and almost touching (crown shyness).

Artist Bio:

Kevin Carey is a Brooklyn-based musician. His solo output oscillates between the filmic yarns of Adum Brate and the flower-electronics of Crown Shyness. His debut album as the latter, Isonautics, was released by Quantum Natives in 2019. He also composes for film, video, and installation, and has most recently performed these scores at Fridman Gallery's New Ear Festival (NYC).

Tati au Miel introduces their latest birthing 'Carousel'. This EP showcases a fusion of electronic and experimental melodies, featuring collaborations with Cecilia, Embaci, and the group Nudo. The auditory experience is complemented by a collection of sculptures crafted by the visual artist Lacra. The essence of 'Carousel' draws its inspiration from Tati au Miel's lived experiences and personal reflections, delving into concepts such as nomadism, migration, nostalgia, and the Haitian spiralism movement. These themes found expression during Tati's artist residency at Echo Correspondence, where the seeds of 'The Tale of The Vagabond': a fictive inter-disciplinary narrative revolving around a hybrid human-bird character known as 'The Vagabond'. The sounds initially created for this narrative have now evolved into 'Carousel', a 5-track EP that captures the playful yet eerie essence of its origins.

Chamber Music (2021) is a soundtrack that chronicles signs, objects, and messages after Bifo Berardi’s writings on the “age of imaginaries”. With referent musical instrumentations that overlay binaural field recordings, Koch renders multi-dimensional soundscapes to create sentient substructures for his sonic echo chambers. Replicating distinct characteristics of a florid age, Chamber Music has no beginning or end, sowing narratives through a process that relies on the spatial-temporal experience of listening.

The composition makes use of binaural 3D audio, which is only effective when listening through headphones.
