"Isolation" is the 2nd EP in Jonny Tobin's "Apocalypse" trilogy project. Lush synth chords and funk-infused beats and basslines merge with soaring harmonized synth lines that sizzle and sing. Shifting through moods and vibes that are uplifting with a hint of bittersweet nostalgia, this project was inspired by the moods and feelings that the global pandemic brought on.

He told me what he thought I wanted to hear. 

And I heard him clearly. I began to go crazy; nothing he said or did was enough anymore, no matter what he did. He could tell the truth and I would still think he was lying. 

I allowed him to do a lot of damage to my mental, I lowered my self worth and esteem. All I ever wanted was love...but instead I received an abundance of lies and resentment.

The damage was done. I was broken and he was the only one who could mend me.

I felt lost without him so I gravitated towards the idea of living a life where living was no longer living if I was living without him. 

So much hurt & pain but without him I never imagined my life being the same.

Masking me seemed easy, and being me seemed tricky.

I was growing tired of always feeling like I had to be something that wasn't me. 

Now I'm seeking to be free.

Life is a never ending journey of experiences. Neither good or bad, just experiences. I will continue to conceive love, create outside of the constraints of my mind and experience life to the fullest. 

I live only to be happy.
