Roughly 11.5 million years ago in a galaxy not too far away, a starquake cracked the surface of a small and violent stellar corpse. This rupture caused an enormous flare that sent X-rays and gamma rays racing across the universe. After traveling for millions of years, the flood of high-energy radiation finally washed over our inner solar system just before 5 A.M. EST on April 15, 2020, lighting up the sensors of spacecraft orbiting the Sun, Earth, and Mars. The signal lasted just a fraction of a second, but it still offered telltale clues about where it came from.

And just a few weeks ago, a team of scientists studying the event announced they've deduced the bizarre origins of this cosmic flood of radiation. The signal came from a strange star called a magnetar — short for magnetic star — an extreme object that packs the mass of our Sun into a city-sized sphere.

This is the 4th song posted from the album I started using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic when I had extra time due to society closing down. This song was inspired by Black Lives Matter and my own experiences with the police growing up in the California East Bay Area in the 80s. 

It has been an incredible opportunity working with Wou-Wou, Stricknice, and Bitzone on this album. I feel like we have a realized sound and vision for the overall style of the album. It is exciting to know that we have many more tracks ready to be released. 

Massive thanks to RUIZZOIDMAN (E-Ruizzo) for joining us on Cruising Through. RUIZZOIDMAN has massively contributed to the positive vibes and individual creative spirit that defines our SoundCloud community. a few out takes from Dani Kirby and Mat Ward's weekly rehearsals at the legendary Rat Palace as we plot and stumble our way to a new full length album. We seem to have more riffs this year, less texture, more fuzz, less space. Fuck knows where these things come from, a couple we have stopped and thought about, others we just let flow. Poetry

The Silent Treatment (collab with sonic structures and silent stretches)

A journey across the desert.  This takes place in a dream with hazy, dark colours.
The intro sets the scene.  A ritualistic voice is carried by the wind.
A slave escapes from pyramid construction and is pursued by men in chariots. The sun is beating and the air has a liquid quality. Sand is blowing across the plain. The synth lead has an alarm-like quality. The electro 16th notes that come in are a hot, glimmering mirage.
The bass synth is sneaky and searching. The soldiers are beating continuous war drums. A regular horn is being blown. More chasers appear as the snare drum crashes in.  
The escapee luckily grabs hold of a bird and slowly leaves the ground, narrowly avoiding a growling elephant. As the funk guitar comes in we soar through beautiful air, psychedelic colours passing by, going higher and higher until we’re nearly at the limits of our atmosphere. The gods speak to us through another dimension in an indecipherable language.  They sound malevolent and seem to be sending a warning to turn back. We continue to climb further until reaching our biggest peak.
Dark storm clouds appear and slowly we descend. The new acid bass is the call of a large hippo. Alarm bells ring and we feel terror as the pharaohs have caught us up and are waiting below. The chief villain lets out a booming, evil laugh. 
Once on the ground mayhem ensues as we do our best to fight the soldiers off. But they are too numerous to handle and soon we are torn limb from limb in frenzy. The voice of Werner Herzog comes in as if this is one of his films that he’s commenting on. 
The Pharaohs party in macabre celebration.  Our soul leaves the body and rises up as the group sets back off home.

Another blast from the past and journey through time and bands this is a seven piece rap rock band called Faith in fools from Wigan here in the UK and this is an original rap rock track called Rapish and was recorded at Jarraf studios in Wigan by John Kettle! Hope you enjoy the vibe! Peace

When https://soundcloud.com/dneye asked me for a track to play his fantastic guitars on, I brainstormed this 5/4 piece with odd chord set in order to make it difficult to him and thus get the best from his skills. After programming it, I added some organic solos (yep I played keys) to make it seem more friendly ;))))

And he... succeeded in the challenge, overcoming all my expectations !!!
