Across North America and around the globe, climate change has a far-reaching impact on people, our economy, wildlife, and natural spaces that many species call home.

For example, warming temperatures are melting sea ice, glaciers, and caps in the Arctic and adversely affecting waters, forests, plants, and animals - not to mention people in these communities who rely on those resources.

As the mercury continues to rise, scientists predict that parts of the United States and Canada will experience more hazardous weather, such as prolonged DROUGHTS, HEAT WAVES & HEAVY RAINS.

Sweetest and dearest Mother Earth is being destroyed. It costs far less to reduce greenhouse gas emissions NOW than to adapt to climate change later.

Acid Winds

It's something else when you grow up with friends, and can remember their innocence and your innocence back when you were very young.  Then you get older, and before your eyes you see innocence being broken.  This artwork reminded me of that... It's like Alice, it's like real girls... They were once young and innocent, playing around, chasing rabbits, like Alice would've done...

And then several years later, I see a girl I knew on hard drugs here... A girl I knew becoming a prostitute over there... Girls running away and disappearing.  It's hard reality everywhere... For friends, lovers, parents..... And it always hits everyone like a truck, being driven by the nature of humanity itself.

Taken by the queen of the hearts, her friends smile at me...

WHERE ARE THE DEAD?

Charity can be a fantastic thing and I’m sure that it has helped and saved many people's lives but, on an international basis, think it has a built-in failure to succeed. People in difficult times should not have to depend on charitable acts to live and whilst it may make the giver feel better, it rarely solves the problem.
I had a knock at my door the other day and the person asked if I would give a monthly amount of money to help purchase a new air ambulance. I asked if we needed one and the reply was "yes it was really urgent and it saves lots of lives". I asked why do the NHS not buy one and the reply was they thought it was partly due to government cutbacks. I wondered if the country’s defence system (which saves lives or so we are told) was run on charitable donations, would we have enough tanks, missiles or trident submarines? Perhaps we should have a referendum?  Possibly not a good idea…
Like many others I was caught up in the creation of 'Band Aid' and at the time felt that it might have brought a big change in how world problems are viewed and dealt with. It was all very empowering, watching musicians using their own popularity to try and change the world and, for that small moment in time, they did. The real legacy has been the creation of annual, media charity events involving not only the support of the famous but, irony of ironies, of world leaders and politicians too.  And every year, exactly the same problems are being addressed…
This song is just meant to be a tap on the shoulder. We are one world!
