This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. I remember when I first began participating in the SoundCloud community, I would always eagerly anticipate a new GWOTF track, especially because I grew up in Oakland California. This is a song I'm very proud of because it's a musical family photo of the first time my son Marshall and I ever played string instruments together. He had just turned 9, and had only been playing the fiddle for about two months. I told him to hit an open D and the E for four beats of two measures, only I didn't say it like that. I just played it for him and he was able to keep a good rhythm for about four minutes! Originally, this song was just him on violin and me on mandolin, but I went back and added some bass, too. I really hope you enjoy my Fathers Day treat. I told him I'd let him know how many people listened to it, and show him the comments. He's come a long way since then, about 7 months ago, but this recording is very special to me, and I really wanted to share it with my SoundCloud family. Thank you so much for giving it a listen, and happy Fathers Day to everyone who is or has a father!

My old SC mate Micah played drums to test a friend’s recording set, and sent me some cuts full of improvised breaks and tempos. I love time changes, yet this was really challenging!

I finally chose two of them and jammed with bass until I learnt his story telling.
Then, I clicked on the red button, again and again.
