This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. I remember when I first began participating in the SoundCloud community, I would always eagerly anticipate a new GWOTF track, especially because I grew up in Oakland California. Some time ago @dj-pietrekb showed me a great free Kontakt (it works on free Player version) plug-in called Arcane by Embertone. I decided to use one of the 4 "instruments" contained in it (that unusual single female vocal) to create this little track.
Beside that I've used a great UVI DXS synthesizer from the Digital Synsations pack, Massive and, known to those who follow my tracks: Epic Choir, Epic Strings and Cinematic Percussion from the Originals series by Spitfire, Flutes and Trumpets from Spitfire's Free BBC SO Discovery.
I used 2 samples: Djembe 120bpm from Ableton Live's Core Library and Chimes Finger Down from, also Ableton's, Drum Essentials pack.

While creating this track, I noticed that it sounds very similar to Ennio Morricone's works, especially those from the movie "The Mission" 😉 which was not my intention at all... It just turned out that way 😆
