Many factors inspired the creation of "Cheeks". As an artist I wanted to create a summer banger for the ladies and the fellas since we were robbed of a hot girl summer last year, "Cheeks" is the refund. A notable musical influence that inspired the chorus on "Cheeks" is "The Whisper Song" by the Ying Yang Twins. As a woman loving woman, I am a fan of the female form; however,  I believe all bodies are beautiful and "Cheeks" is a track that everybody can dance to and enjoy.

This track "Thing For You" was inspired by the original track performed by Ja Rule and Ashanti, "Always On Time". When I was writing the lyrics I listened to that track over and over again to feel the vibe and match the same energy. I'm a huge fan and student of the 80's to early 2000's and honestly it's my favorite era in music history because some of the greatest artists delivered masterpieces that I still play till this day. "Thing For You" was created to bring back those good vibes and to let that person that you have a crush on or are feeling them in a deeper way know that you are not trying to invest time in anyone else and they have your undivided attention. As the story unfolds, the narrator (Juice-Z) concludes that the individual she is speaking of in the song is fronting like they are not aware that Juice-Z is extremely interested in them regardless of the circumstances and eventually soon that individual will find out that the feelings they have been feeling as well cannot be masked anymore and the individual will soon seek happiness with Juice-Z. "It's just a matter of time, you know damn well that you're mine."
