Juicy Tunes 018 w/ The Muffin Man

As the next guest on the Fast Forward Audio Series, we are excited to present: ENNIO

ENNIO is a Berlin-based artist with a South-East Asian and Slavic-Jewish background who has recently gained significant attention and popularity with the release of his EP titled »Scacotteter.« Prior to this, he self-released a collection of 19 ambient tracks, »Notes from the quarantine,« created during lockdown, and the Gabber- infused trap tune »Memory is inherent in Nature« via DJ Spit's Rascals. Moreover, he has contributed to TILT's first Various Artist compilation in December 2022. However, it is the track »Gunung Padang« from his latest EP that has truly propelled him to the forefront of the scene. With his just released single, »Don't Stop (Gimme More),« he continues to captivate the attention of leading artists and dominate dance floors worldwide.

In addition to being an integral part of TILT, ENNIO holds a residency at the popular queer event series Kinky Sundays, based at Hamburg's acclaimed PAL. 

About the mix: “Improvised, in solitude at home, pushing buttons. Some unreleased, some released things. Overall, I'm just exploring my sexuality here and hoping for a Capri Sun sponsorship!”

This one’s a 2 hour heavy weight endurance test, moving from sexy techno through glittery trance and mind warping tribe, skipping along a vortex of soundscapes and landing us in a place of complete elation. 

Thank you FOLD for the unrelenting energy! Each time I have shared with you at Unfold has been special, but this one truly feels like a blessing and a moment I will cherish forever.

BLGV is known for quirky, hard grooves and invigorating bass. His mixes interweave sounds both mechanical and elemental with a skill earned over 11+ years as DJ and musical producer. 

BLGV’s art draws heavily from his Japanese/Ukrainian heritage, blending it with the inimitable culture of his home city, Tokyo. First establishing his event series “MUSTANG” there among immense fanfare in 2017, BLGV has since imported it and himself to Berlin where he has been playing shows since 2021.
