Composé de Ernesto González Róndon (aka Bear bones, Lay low) et de Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle (aka Lamina, une des fondatrices du collectif Urlo fest) ils nous font écouter deux heures de sons composés à partir de musiques samplées et rejouées en direct avec différents effets mélangées à plusieurs sessions d’improvisations du duo enregistrées à Bruxelles.

After a long break from the solitude, I went out partying with friends in Dubai. In the middle of our jam session, inspiration struck and I drifted away into my own zone. This track was born and completed in just one hour.

🐿️ Skankin’ Squirrel

Somewhere deep in the breakbeat backwoods, a squirrel got into a stash of old jungle dubplates and never looked back.

Skankin’ Squirrel is a full-throttle jungle banger where bluegrass fiddle loops dance over chopped Amen breaks, and an annoyingly catchy squirrel vocal scats, chants, and squeaks like it’s headlining a barn rave inside a treehouse.

The energy is chaotic but precise — like Cotton-Eye Joe got a reload in a pirate radio station run by woodland creatures on too much caffeine.
The drops are thick. The bass wobbles with the raw funk of a moonshine-powered subwoofer. 

What to expect:

High-speed breakbeats, barn-fried and bass-battered

Bluegrass fiddle licks chopped and reversed into jungle stabs

A talking squirrel who’s maybe possessed by a jungle DJ from 1994

Fiddle leads, rodent vocal hooks and booyaka bass.

Canadian producer RAMZi gives us another glimpse into her magical world on her new album Multiquest Niveau 1: Camouflé, recently released on her own FATi Records imprint. In similar fashion to her offerings for 12th Isle and Mood Hut, she paints an extraordinary sound palette of everything from breaks and acid to Balearic and experimental. "This video represents hope for resistance hidden in the decadence of the zombies world. The main protagonists of the RAMZi world, who are the children and the animals, are as always teaming together to trick, and this time, poison the zombies in their morbidity.

This music video is the continuation of a Federico Lamas’s VJset made for RAMZi 's live show at MUTEK Buenos Aires in 2019. Federico's video-installations, animations and illustrations always works through irony. A funny troy horse full of recycled darkness."

This track is the result of a field recording workshop held at Skotfoss and Løveid Locks in April 2019. The workshop was part of the Greenlightdistrict Arts Festival 2019.
The workshop aimed to capture the sonic identity of a closed down industrial site in the south of Telemark, Norway. 
Artistic leader was Jørgen Larsson. Producer for Greenlightdistrict was Tom Hovinbøle.

Collecting sound is my habitual endeavour. Using recorded sound as my raw material, detach it entirely from its source and reconstruct it through a series of electronic processing. Texture rich tracks blend the sounds of my journeys. From heavily droning soundscapes towards a more rhythmic narrative.

Elitepop is a monthly radio show by Enfant Terrible for Intergalactic FM (IFM). A new episode is transmitted every first Monday of the month on the Cybernetic Broadcasting System channel at IFM for 1 hour from 21.00h onwards… No talking... just music!

Episode 11 was transmitted November 2020 and is just me at home on Black Monday going through some records and tracks with the record button on... from ambient to dub to (harsh) beats to noise to post-industrial...
