Although I consider myself a novice still, I had fun getting more particular with this spacey sounding track. I used sidechaining extensively, which I had not done before, and spent a lot of time getting the right synths I wanted. 

Nova represents a starship traveling through the grandeur of the universe.

My inspiration for this song was the chord swells you often hear in future bass or other electronic music. This mix ended up being one of the best I've done thus far. I discovered a few tricks that really helped my sound design out. Hope you guys enjoy!

I'm proud of this track because I feel like it describes my personality well in a song. Of course, I'm more than just happy all the time, but the sound of this track reminds me of all the things I am and love. Childlike play and being silly are two things that we naturally stop doing as we mature, but that part of us should never die! Jam out to this song like you're a kid again. Have fun!

What's up guys, thank you so much for listening! I had fun making this track among the busyness of college that I'm currently in. The entire track is based off of one sound that I engineered myself, the chord swells (lead) of the chorus. I messed around in Serum for a long time to get exactly what I wanted.
