~ liner notes ~
i never started consciously making an ep. i started making songs with ideas and soundscapes that could flow easily. i started envisioning themes between songs and how they would interplay. i poured my own emotions into the songs and saw what was staring back at me, a true reflection of self. the first songs i made for this ep were in japan, in the early months of 2017. snowed in, with no closure to the end of a long term relationship, i put together scraps with no proper end goal in sight. i did the same when i moved cities, i did the same when i had my heart broken, and i did the same when it was all that i could do.

and suddenly, from these scraps, i had four or five .wav files, which i knew could act as the backbone for an ep. what ep, i didn't yet know. but the idea of one conceptual piece had a stronger pull than a handful of listless singles.

i hope you appreciate the sound and the story of the ep
