Stop Windows 95

A longer interlude track from an album I am working called "Nostalgia Onslaught". I plan for it to go over all the sounds I plan on sharing, so here's a the first shared track. The plan is to move from breakcore influenced stuff to vaporwave, to plunderphonics, to techno and then ambient. However that is just the plan, not actually something that I can completely promise since my juice might get me to make something else. All I can say for sure, is to expect a mix of Breakcore, Vaporwave, Ambient, Techno, and Plunderphonics.

It may seem a tad basic, but I am fine with that. Most of what I have made for the album is less basic as of now. More on the chaotic side compared to this subdude walk through an infinitely repeating oasis.

A techno track I made inspired by the sets I have been listening to a lot. Which those being the Jeff Mills sets from the 90s and early 2000s. This will be part of an EP filled with other techno tracks.

A mashup of Exium's classic "Expect Nothing" and HOME's "We're Finally Landing".

Came up with the idea when I was starting a set with these two on their own, but realized doing it live would have been cumbersome, so I decided to do it in Ableton as a mashup to then play in a mix. Getting used to a new way of working as a DJ. Most of the space on my laptop was filling up and the cause was the stuff I use in my sets. So I now prepare sets. This is my first one. So, it will take same time to get used to. But anyways, hope y'all enjoy this. 

Gave y'all the ATs so y'all can go look into the catalogs of these talented individuals. The only that did not make sense to AT was myself lol. The only exceptions when it comes to other artists not getting ATed is if they have a completely empty page. In that case, just see what you find on like YouTube or bandcamp if you want to see more of a given artist like 天気予報 (pronounced Asutenki), Lituus, or Oliver Ho.

Insaciable Grooves || A Signalwave, Future Funk, Techno, and MallSoft mix

A mashup that came to be while I was making an edit of Foundry for layering capabilities in live sets.

Eric Los is the composer behind the Soundtrack to Megarace 2. A somewhat obscure game from the late 90s for MS Dos. Found out about the game through a streamer revisiting it a couple years back. And I have been obsessed with this song in particular. As I get more stuff out, you will eventually find that video game OSTs are a thing I hold near and dear to me. Tend to lean more odd games like Megarace 2, the entire mario franchise, Katamari Damacy, and Rolypolys no Nanakorobi Yaoki to name a few.

And then Shlomi Aber, an Israeli born techno producer, had recently released a killer techno EP. Made sure the cover said it all so y'all can check it out. Aber has been doing music since the early 90s, if my sources are correct. So dude has been in it for a bit. Shlomi's music is really good and should be checked out if you want more techno.

Shlomi Aber X Eric Los - Glowing x Foundry (A BuffCorp. Mashup)

A tune with an atmosphere built off vaporwave ideas with a raw, minimal groove built from the philosophy of techno. Sampled two retro ads from Japan as atmosphere and melody and then grabbed Patrick o' Hearn's At First Light for backing percussion to lay behind the drum groove. Also got a synth in there, but eh. It snugs itself into the rhythm to well, it can be hard to notice at times.

Rough Edges

Yet again, made this mashup from me messing around in Serato DJ, prepping tunes. I like how this turned out, honestly. Much, much simpler than the others. But simple is better sometimes. And any DJs that wanna use this in their sets, go on ahead as always. The download is free. Will eventually make a comp of all my mashups on Bandcamp for folks to grab for free. I do not aim to make money off these mashups. Only making them on impulse.

About each artist:
11vx is a breakcore, jungle, and low poly techno artist from florida (might have coined low poly techno when prepping rapid in serato, or not. doesn't matter honestly, just never heard anyone use the term before). 11vx is also not very active and I was not able to find much on them, however, I do really appreciate that. I love when artists just let the music itself speak. I think their dogs are cute. 

Petter B is a swedish techno powerhouse producer and DJ that got started in the 2000s. Released stuff on Bond, Drumcode, Sway, Adult Records, and Modulars to name a few. A deeply hypnotic, at times atmospheric, vibe centric sound that some folks may not be interested in, but I think at least checking out the dude is worth it. What he put out on the Bond label last year was fierce as shit. Coming Back basically becoming my favorite techno track of 2024. Shit, might even be in top five of 2024.

A slush tune I made, really liked how it turned out. A well crafted vibe I think, even if it did not take long. The vibe kinda just appeared.

BuffCorp. aka Buffy: The producer of the duo is a breakcore, Jungle, vaporwave, IDM, Techno, Noise, and Ambient producer that also produces Hip Hop for Mizuki aka Nori.

Nori aka Mori Mizuki: An experimental hip hop and digital hardcore outfit with instrumentals produced by Buffy. With lyrics takin on surrealistic visual and metaphor heavy forms, unless stated otherwise.
