I'm guessing the friends they are talking about are Gungor (who oddly enough may now be called Vishnu Dass), Science Mike, William Matthews.

I was slowly introduced into having online and text being a part of relationships (24 years old) and i think having both at a comfortable amount isn't bad. Tp be honest it is nice to think of a friend, be unable to see them, but still let them know you are thinking of them.

Having a conversation personally is better than texting but texting is useful in many ways :)
