Mayor Tom Barrett says #BlackLivesMatter

The Mayor of Milwaukee Tom Barrett in a News Conference yesterday said #BlackLivesMatter because of the huge number of murders already this year in the city of Milwaukee.  In standard liberal fashion instead of taking responsibility and putting forth a plan, he simply blamed the tragic state of the city on our conceal carry laws and not getting support from Gov. Scott Walker.  Oh and did you notice how he slyly put in that he would rather see a reduction in the number of arrest for carrying a nickel bag of marijuana and more focus on getting guns off the street.

 

The Person That Interviewed Me Insulted Me by Asking Me Too Many Questions

I ran into this man in his 50’s yesterday.  He had just left an interview for a fast food restaurant.  He was obviously angry because he just walked up to me and started complaining about how hard it was to get a job because this woman that just interviewed him made him mad.  I had some time so I engaged him in his complaint.  He was angry because he said she was asking him questions that were already answered on his one page resume (WHAT?).  He said that she was making him answer questions like…
◾How long did you work there
◾What did you do there
◾What was the name of he company
◾What is there phone number

Really?  He was upset from standard questions.  So I simply told him that him getting angry about standard questions didn’t make sense.  Besides that this guy actually told her not to write on his resume because that was the only copy.  I asked him why he only had one copy and he said because they cost too much to get copies.  I will go in to more detail about this nonsense.  Just take a listen to the show above.

 

Not all Officers Are Racists and Not Every Black Man That Gets Shot is Innocent?

We all know that when you try and have a conversation with many liberals they resort to personal attacks and name calling.  The facts become irrelevant.  One of the biggest insults they try and throw at conservatives is calling them racists.  There is a video (click here to see video) that went viral of Will Stack, a 22yr old African-American male explaining his encounter with a police officer in South Carolina.  It is very odd how the only thing that many liberals get in an uproar about is a White cop killing a black man, but remain eerily silent on the issues of Black on Black crime.  It seems that #BlackLivesMatter #UnlessItsBlacksKillingBlacks.

 

President Hillary Clinton #WarOnWomen?

I guess since it was on Twitter its official that Hillary Clinton is running for President.  Oh sorry.  We are suppose to refer to her as Clinton (marketing of course).  I am so intrigued with this I could bust!  How do you get around Benghazi?  How do you get around destroying email evidence?  How do you get around financial scandal?  How do you get around being married to Bill and Lewinsky? I am so anxious to really see if the media really drills her down on all of these issues.  But since she is a woman, she is going to get a pass just like Obama for being of color.  You can’t talk about the Black President and you can’t talk about the woman candidate.  Well because you are a racists and a woman hater #waronwomen.

There are some things that I am just unsure of when it comes to welfare and EBT card benefits in general.  I know that with any system you have people that will abuse it.  That is going to happen no matter what kind of stipulations you put into place.

I do often wonder about how people actually feel about being on government assistance.  Most of what we hear in the media is in regards to the abusers.  We rarely hear about the folks that actually need it and use it appropriately.

I feel that this is simply another propaganda tool that many use to make people believe that everyone on government assistance is just lazy.   I do not for one second believe this.  People that are using EBT cards or SNAP because of job loss due to the bad economy surely find it offensive the way many talk about people in their situation.  They are not the problem.

However many of us have been in the grocery store and witnessed people selling food stamps for cash.  At least here in Milwaukee it is seen everyday.  These types of misuses of our tax dollars enrage us all.

Police Killing Whites

I’m trying to remember any hoopla over a police officer killing a white man and people saying there was something wrong with that.  Of course this does not sell news papers or get on FOX.  The sexy and provocative thing seemingly is a white cop killing a black man.  The fact of the matter is (according to an article from politifact.com) Police kill more whites than blacks.


The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention keeps data on fatal injuries from 1999 to 2011 and one category is homicides by legal intervention. The term “legal intervention” covers any situation when a person dies at the hands of anyone authorized to use deadly force in the line of duty.

Over the span of more than a decade, 2,151 whites died by being shot by police compared to 1,130 blacks. In that respect, Medved is correct.

One thing that pops out is that the statement that more whites are killed by cops than blacks is that it makes sense seeing that whites make up about 63% of the population and Blacks only about 12%.  That being said there is still an issue with the numbers seeing that Blacks make up such a small percentage of the total population of the United States.

The Fallacy of Black on Black Crime

I read an intriguing Op-Ed piece by Walter Bond in Urban Milwaukee That states,


83% of white murders are committed by whites, so why doesn’t that get similar discussion?

 

I do believe that this is a part of the discussion that needs to be heard.  Again, Whites killing whites is not something that anyone has ever stood up and said that there is some sort of injustice around.  No one is going to march or protest at city hall because a white man was killed.  particularly before there is any investigation of the matter.

The truth is that with in any ethnic group, you are more likely to be killed by someone that looks like you as apposed to someone that does not.

Would You Go To A Gay Wedding

Gay Marriage is already a hot topic for this season of campaigning for the office of Potus.  What is your real opinion of gay marriage? Would you go to a gay wedding?  This is a question that Marco Rubio as well as Scott Walker recently were asked.

There are a few things that I feel need to be addressed.  In order to really tackle this you need to ask yourself a few questions.
1. What if you have a gay child
2. What if you have any family member that comes out gay.
3. Would you go to a wedding of someone that has been divorced and this is there 2nd or 3rd marriage?
4. Would you go to wedding of two straight people that have been involved with premarital sex?
5. Would you have as a friend any straight person that is involved in fornication with multiple people.
6. What do you feel about a gay couple adopting a child?

 


 


Dale Kooyenga State Representative at The Wisconsin State Assembly

Two-thirds of the incarcerated African-American men came from six zip codes in Milwaukee and it is no coincidence that those zip codes are also home to the greatest density of failing schools and the highest unemployment in the state.


Dale Kooyenga is working with Senator Alberta Darling here in Wisconsin to put together a program for New Opportunities in the City of Milwaukee.  Education is obviously a huge part of that initiative along with jobs and economic opportunities.

Attached you will find a pdf that will layout what this plan involves.  Dale would really like your thoughts and input on this.  When we have been fighting the #waronpoverty for 50 years and seen things get worse instead of better, we must see a need for change.

Milwaukee County Supervisor Deanna Alexander is under some small arms fire because of a satirical comment she made about Hillary Clinton, referring to her as "Ovary" #OperationOvary.

Can anyone honestly say that they are completely offended by this?  What politician at the presidential level has not been made fun of?  Is this some sort of Left Wing conspiracy?  This is simply ridiculous and goes to further the assumption by many that H. Clinton thinks she should be president simply because she is a woman.

As with Barack Obama and not being able to challenge him because he is African-American, anyone who dares challenge Clinton will be labeled as a sexist and a part of the infantry in the #waronwomen.

How about this?  Why not just simply refer to her as Hillary liar of Benghazi, Taking money from terrorists, say anything to get elected Clinton!

 


$50Billion Signing Bonus for Iran

Confused, angry, and scared controversy surrounds Barack Obama and his shady forever changing deal with Iran.  Reports continue to come out that the President has known for over a year that Iran is less than 3 months away from being able to produce a nuclear weapon.  Much embarrassment, well there should be, surrounds the President on this matter along with the fact that he seems to even think Iran can be trusted.

Why does it seem like the Left is so blinded when it comes to extremist?  These people, Iran in particular, has flat out shown that they hate the West and anything we stand for.  How can or why does the President believe that Iran is trustworthy?  Maybe the question really is...Is the President trustworthy?

 


#NoSnitching Cops?

Right now Baltimore, MD is in the midst of Racial tension (not hard to accomplish anywhere in the nation right now) because of the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody.  Gray was arrested on April 12 after fleeing from the police.  Many are saying that Gray was arrested simply for "running while Black".

The Attorney for the Baltimore Police Union, Michael Davey says that they had every right to arrest Gray. "There is a Supreme Court Case that states that if you are in a high-crime area, and you flee from the police unprovoked, the police have the legal ability to pursue you.  This is exactly what happened in this case.  The police did however find a knife on Gray.

The controversy comes in because some how during the time in police custody Freddie Gray suffered a severe spinal cord injury.  His family says that his voicebox was crushed and his neck snapped before slipping into a coma and ultimately dying.

This happened back on April 12. Today is April 23 and no one yet has any answers.

Many of us take issue with people not coming forward and telling police when crimes are being committed in their own neighborhoods.  This of course refers to the #NoSnitching mentality that has become so prevalent.  What about Police Officers following that same line of thinking and protecting wrong doers in their own department.

 


Are Out of Wedlock Births The Real Problem In The Black Community?

It would seem that any discussion of issues of crime in the black community all but ignore out of wedlock births.  It is not even a real part of the discussion in many cases.  We discuss drugs, crime, violence, and prison population from a stand point of almost a disease that is affecting us as oppose to something that we do to ourselves.

The issue is spoken of many times from a perspective of what "they" have done to us.  If #BlackLivesMatter a real discussion needs to occur about...
◾72 percent of black children are born to unwed mothers
◾Blacks make up 13% of the population but commit half the violent crimes
◾98% of the time Blacks are killed by Blacks and 2% by law enforcement
◾Education in urban areas are suffering not because of funding but because of lack of parental involvement and lowered expectations.
