Bio:

Paul has began to make a career in his own right, having several top ten hits in many different charts in the USA and UK.

Having numerous songs singed to various large record labels around the globe such as Universal/Hardcastle records, Trippin Rythm records, Pacha recordings, King Street Sounds Cafe Del Mar & many more.

Performing his own Smooth Jazz music at many of london's best venues for Great clients, for example The Guild Hall for the Common wealth and Olympic team's Christmas party, The Savoy Hotel London, Dean street's Pizza Express Jazz club, The Berkeley Hotel Knightsbridge, Kuredu island Maldives and launching cars for companies such as Aston Martin.

Also performing in the dance scene with some of the worlds biggest and best DJs around today.

People such as Alex Gaudino, Eddie Thoniek, Eric Morillo, Laidback Luke, Dj Oliver, Mark Doyle (Hed Kandi's creator), Brandon Block & Alex P, Steve Smart (Kiss 100),

Jose Devina, Lee John (Judgement Sundays), Kid Massive, Soul Avengers to name a few.

Paul spends most of his time in his studio working on his own material, currently waiting for his first backing track from a grammy award winning producer who can not be named yet.

Performance wise he has proved very versatile playing with Jazz & Rock bands, DJs and at one stage toured with his own Funky House band across the UK.

The Cornish born, Suffolk bred singer/songwriter travelled Europe like a troubadour playing anywhere that would have him until finally making his break in France, gaining international attention leading to a platinum selling debut album 'Hobo' in 2009. "For this mix, I made a selection of tracks I think are combining influences, familiar and foreign, and stepping into new territories (give or take). Each time I release an album it feels like I’m embarking on another two year adventure; seeing it as another territory to explore is what makes it interesting. I’m including tracks into this mix which give me that feeling, including one track from my new record, Curio City, which demonstrates most where my head's at these days. "

Charlie Winston: Music To... Explore To

With parents in X-Ray Spex, The Ex and The Raincoats, London’s Trash Kit were always going to be wonderfully badass. The band sees Rachel A, Rachel H and Ros M unite in the creation of primal post-punk, softened with a folky feeling and peppered with snare and sax. Since they released their second album Confidence in December we’ve been hooked. Trusting them with our self-worth, we asked the coolest girls in the city to reassure us that we’re doing okay. Although secretly hoping for a love letter, we were more than happy to receive it in the form of a mix. Tell those January Blues where to stick it – hit play and let your confidence soar.

Trash Kit: Music To... Give You Confidence

Known only by his moniker, 23-year-old Londoner @CatchingFliesMusic caught our attention over a year ago with The Long Journey Home EP. The illusive DJ and producer makes cinematic dreamscapes that sit quite nicely alongside those of 2014 tour buddy Bonobo, and, with a debut album in the works and a third EP about to surface, our appetites have been whet by the sweet nostalgia of Quiet Night. A fan of i-D’s Slumber Session series, Catching Flies has put together one of his own and it’s one of our all-time favourites. “I’ve always been inspired by soundtracks and interested in the impact music has on picture and vice versa, so the idea was to create a soundtrack to the story of someone’s life.” CF explains. “It was nice to completely disregard the dancefloor and make something purely for home listening. The tunes are a mix of new and old and the idea is that you’re taken on a journey.” This slumber session is a soundtrack to the film of your imaginary life. Drift away and live vicariously.
