Recognised worldwide as Australia’s premiere female turntablist, [DJ D](http://www.djdworldwide.com/) is a true veteran of the craft. She first touched the decks in the late 1980s, played her first gig in 1988, and has been shaping Australian DJ culture ever since.

Since 1998, she has cemented her place as one of the most respected DJs in the country – with an endless list of battle titles, achievements, and international appearances. Her skills on the 1s and 2s have seen her featured in global media, respected by peers, and celebrated as a pioneer for women in turntablism.

More than 30 years on, DJ D still sets the standard – combining razor-sharp technique with an ear for tracks that bring people together. She’ll forever be remembered as one of the first women to cut it up with the industry’s best, and continues to inspire new generations of DJs worldwide.
