obsession with sounds and samples, of bygone era and paradigms,
 reflecting the fractal pattern of our experiences; a home studio open 
to the community of Haida Gwaii to collaborate and explore the realm 
of acoustic and electronic arts through soundscape, rhythm,  and poetry

I am a fan of the longform; a piece of soundscape sequenced to move and transform along with the journey of the poem or storytelling. When composing these sketches, there is always the thought of motion, movement from one point to another, and another, and often there is an overarching theme; if its one sample used throughout or all samples originating from the same source. The most common trait will find throughout these selections is the sense of cinema, of movies and motion picture, animation. These are influences and part of the process.
