Feed The Night is an upbeat summer dance tune. The standout bassline keeps the song grooving and in that summertime vibe - the beat keeps things disco and the choppy vocals add endless groove and flavour to a track that is made to be blasted from speakers in July. Last year Rebirth Records celebrated 10 years with the release of the acclaimed compilation selected and mixed by Larry Heard. We are now happy to present 'Rebirth 10 Remixed': a special collection, available on a limited 2x12” vinyl edition, and three digital parts, including brand new versions of some of the classics of the label in the first ten years.

The second part includes remixes from Palms Trax, Borrowed Identity, Gerry Read, Matteo Gamba and Khotin Berlin-based producer Palms Trax picks one of our favourites 'The Infamous' by Butch & C.Vogt cooking up a very cool version, combining the subtle atmospheric deep vibe and hazy synths with a swinging bass-heavy and a pinch of Acid. Borrowed Identity drops an uplifting, dynamic and solid club mix of 'Conscious Of My Conscience', the classic by Womack & Womack revisited by Freaks.  Gerry Read delivers an incredibly peak time house boogie disco monster version of Full Intention's club hit 'Icon'. The italian producer living in Berlin Matteo Gamba, add his electronic deep touch to System Of Survival’s ‘Iper Island’, while  Vancouver based producer Khotin gives 'Evolving' by Chromatic Filters an introspective slow feel with acid touch.

The cover sleeve is a work by Emil Schult, who has created a painting especially for the Rebirth's Anniversary. Emil is known for his work with electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk. Schult's collaboration with founders Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider saw him actively involved in writing lyrics as well as generating the design for some of the band's most famous covers.

Re-igniting the dancefloors twenty years after its original release, Steve Bug refreshes this classic Chez Damier production, originally from 1992. ‚Can You Feel It‘ is one of those classic New York / Chicago House jams that just defines a moment in dance music history. Dessous label boss Steve Bug arranges two special mixes that celebrate and re-juvinate this very special record.

Steve‘s straight up remix maintains the classic vibes with a sensitive 90s themed re-work that calls upon clean, fresh drums and smooth sub bass as its initial building blocks. The instantly recognisable vocal is included, as is the hey-day chord vibes and glorious US house melodies. Simply deadly in the right moments... A Re-Dub version is also included that spaces things out and opens up the strings in a breezy and superbly mixed club tool.

A ‚New York Dub‘ has also been included, dug out from the Chez Damier vaults and re-mastered for 2012 - highly prized vibes on this and his trademark, pushing, swinging drums keep us going ‚on and on‘!
